I was playing Rostov and near the HQ at the upper right corner of Rostov (the one with the airfield), there is a set of bunkhouse-like buildings. I was thinking it would be interesting if these could be used as the Ostheer Infantry Barracks but with sandbags stacked around it instead of using a reskinned US tent like the Soviets. It'd make the Germans look more professional.

OK, I think you meant those buildings:

And I agree, would be awesome to have them as infantry-camp for the Ostheer, some sandbags and a flagpole and voilĂ , new base-structure!

Even for USSR can be found another better buildings, who can keep some infantry.

For command post can be wonderful if will be replaced with a small building.

Allot of wonderful models can be found.

There are many problems with making custom base buildings, whether the models already exist in CoH or whether they are made by us.

At last HQ must be replaced with something special.

This is possible ?

A few of those problems being? (Other then the obvious Construction animation, and building a unit animation, skinning or reskinning, and actual design of the building)

Skinning and design is not a problem. Animation is. Custom anims might as well be impossible in CoH for modders.

I did not say to be created another new model.

I told about HQ to be replaced with a wonderful building from CoH,who already exist.

Yes, but the problem remains; no construction animations and no unit training animations. However, those particular barracks seem quite fitting to be a HQ.

Fully undamaged, of course. ;)
