Stalingrad.

But it doesn't show the Germans as undefeatable hereos nore contains any Nazi-Propaganda, unlike Hollywood-movies like EatG or SPR.
It's more like a movie against war which depicts the cruelty and senseless slaughter at the eastern front and doesn't clorify it (like these 2 mentioned above).

Stalingrad is a great movie, nicely done and portraying well the reality of war. Quite  the opposite ending, (reality!) from the happy hollywood war movie endings.

Dont forget Cross of Iron. Sure its a bit hollywood-ish,and the germans speak in english,  but its also a good film about the german point of view on the eastern front and all its UN-glory of war. It also has a good german-themed music intro.  Sgt.Steiner FTW!

Another good, obscure, german soldier oriented-film is The bunker (2001) - (not the one with anthony hopkins playing hitler, this is a newer made one). Its about agroup of german soldiers based on the western front who retreat(after the allied breakthrough at falaise) into an old, neglected bunker, but everything isnt as safe it seems on the inside.

A bit off subject, but theres another good axis-themed, italian made film about the italian point of view in the african campaign, called
El Alamein: The Line of Fire (2002)

IT HAS TO BE WOLFENSTIEN! This music fits with what I wiould imagine what the Ostheer will look like and fight like! As for Hellmarch or anything else from C%C Red Alert series, it's too electronic in my opnion.

Too be honest I think alot of these songs would suit the Werhmacht more, I think the Ostheer would probably have sad, depressing, and slow kind of music as historically for them fighting the Russians was four years of hell.

I think the Panzer-Elite kind of music would suit them the best.

Therion - Hellheim

t's not just the intro, (0,31) the majority of the vocal lines are the EXACT same melody as the vocal lines from SS Marchiert im feindesland. Both the verses AND the chorus. This is NOT a coincidence, it's either a tribute or plagiarism. Nice song anyway.

Não se apresse em perdoar. A misericórdia também corrompe.
