My idea for start will be just for their "buildings"...for now.
Idea :
Ostheer will not have any building,they will have big cars and gliders for units.Some will say "HEY is like UK",but i respond...is not like that
This faction will start with one scouting unit and a big car as a(HQ),who will be ready for moving anywhere if is decided.After will be chosen the place,who can be far for initial starting position,the car begin to be transformed in HQ.If he chose to fix position in starting area,will no matter,because resources will come just after 5 minutes.Will be better to advance in strategic point.
In all this time that infantry scouting unit capture points,moving in stealth always.This unit is just one soldier per game,and replaced if he die.Is armed with SMG,and his purpose is for scouting and capturing sectors,traveling always in stealth,with very good speed.His combat skill is less than sniper ace,but is far more cheap,and healthy.
Head quarter is able to product just one scout for replacing unit from the start if die,and three elite units infantry,all at once,and no more than that,just reinforce.All resources available from the start will be gone for this recruitment.
This units will be send for fast conquer of the map,for recovering the lost time.They will be very hard to be stopped without good force by the allies,who can't come very fast.
For recruiting infantry line units and units able to do job as engineers,will be called a small glider,just in the area where is HQ car.This glider have allot of health,and is hard to be destroyed.
For support units,will be called another heavy truck,who can take another territory,and is used as forward HQ.Is enough strong,and is armed with two Heavy MG for defending himself.
For tank factory is need a little trick.One research is need in support truck,who allow for any from three elite units(about i told) to build one big antenna,who serve also as research center(for upgrades).
After building antenna,can be called tank glider.This glider is a very big/heavy plane,and take a while to come.Also this glider is very strong.He take no damage,when land,and is armed with one powerful AA weapon,and two Heavy MG weapons.Can be destroyed only by heavy guns,bombs or artillery.

UKs defensive and a Bren Carrier cant reinforce. They olso had the biggest empire (1/8 of the world) on earth guarded by a low number of troops. Thats why Britisth have mobile trucks.
Whats with a lone ninja "infantry scouting unit" and German gliders.
Where is history in that?
Relic spend a lot of time balancing the British. Moblile truck HQs are much harder to balance.

This concept is based and reflect the historical concept of blitzkrieg.
Germany was send an army far from their homeland,and establish HQ there.
Strong,aggressive and mobile army from the start.If player chose to follow a defensive strategy later is their choice,but the beginning of the campaign in Eastern Front can be reflected in this way.
This trucks not give any boost on the economy,and are just two(HQ truck,and support units truck).
Their ability will be just for liberty to choose the place for base,and once fixed,will be unable to move in another place.When they fix position for producing units,that territory is captured,but will be no bonus in economy how i told.
All hard work needed is to paint two trucks from UK,with german color and symbols.Also the same job for two gliders(infantry and tank gliders).I think is more easy and unique to follow this concept,than to create new models.
Also this concept reveal a "weakness" for Osteher,because they depend by Antenna for making research,and if this antenna will be destroyed,they will be unable to call heavy glider for producing tanks.

I have to say that I kinda like the idea. However, the way you did it is in my opinion the wrong way.
Ostheer needs its own trucks, not just re-skinned British. Same for gliders....
I suggest having maybe a bus for one of the HQs. Stabs-Omnibusse were commonly used at the eastern front, since the Panzerkorps made it very quickly through the west of Russia in the first days and there was a need to have the command (Stab) with it.
Next thing is that Germany never used a huge amount of gliders. The most famous operations were for sure the raid of the Belgian Fort Eben-Emael and Operation Merkur.
Later in the war, they were hardly used.
One thing which could better fit the role of the gliders is the
Messerschmitt Me 323 "Giant"
as suggested by Lord Rommel.
So my suggestion:
At start, Ostheer has a
Kübelwagen
, which is unarmed, can capture territories and the most important function: Call in the Stabs-Omnibus. There you can produce units like Officers (it's his bus after all
) and light recon-units (Kübel etc.). Also, it can call-in
(with production time of course)
"normal" soldiers, the Landsers, which gives the Ostheer the initial strength they need.
Next step is the "Giant". It's also called-in via Kübelwagen and can produce Pioneers
(who aren't needed in the early-game)
support weaponry like AT-guns, mortars and stuff like that.
As for the tanks, I suggest making them also call-in-units, like the Landsers, available at the Stabs-Omnibus after the Giant has landed.
