T-70/T-90 or T-26?

I don't think this has been brought up before.

So, I was doing some quick research on the T-70. Seems it was considered an all around bad tank and was really only produced from 1942 to 1943(although a lot were built). It seems to me that a better variant would be the T-26 which was the most numerous soviet tank in 1941 and which participated in almost every major battle on the eastern front. Seems to me a more realistic choice.

The T-90 was also quickly phased out in favour of other anti-aircraft guns.

The reason I mention this is because the soviets seem to spam these tanks which I find really unrealistic since that really wasn't the case...

By the way, I want to say that this mod is great and I appreciate all the work that has been done!

we are considering using the t-26, i think we are still deciding how we will use it, last time i remember we were thinking of replacing the t90 with it

also remember that gameplay is more important than realism. for example, only 40 ostwinds were ever built, yet you can build as many as you want as the axis (also, i dont even think there are even any photos of one in action out there from what ive seen)

IIRC the T-26 was being discussed as replacement/reward of the T70, not the T90.

Haha, realism. Well, I guess we shouldn't mention the Kugelblitz then. Realism or AI spamming units doesn't really justify adding in new reward units, they tend to be less common in PvP games since they have a relatively limited lifespan late-game (and humans have the brainpower to understand this), but I think after 3 years with the same units, T3 Soviets are starting to get a little stale so it would be nice to mix them up slightly with a T-60 and T-26.
Problem is - time - and more specifically - the lack of it...

Yea, I mean I get that realism isn't the most important thing and to be honest I think having the wirbelwind or ostwind in the game at all is a bit daft, but that's more of a question for THQ. I just feel that a better choice of unit could be used. My thread was purely constructive criticism.

Well... You should know that we had already a lot of discussions about BT-tanks and T-26-tanks.
Think there is no need to "suggest" this units because we know them and we had already talked about them.
At the moment we have no plans to add this light tanks. Perhaps we will add them when we have time, resources and
ideas for this units.

@Lord Rommel, Im new to the forum and like I said, I didn't see any post about this. Again just constructive criticism.

The Bt-5 or 7 looks great too by the way!  Maybe a reward unit?
