 - Just played basic game.
 Me Wehr. Vs AI Soviet. Game crashed at 20 seconds. AI Freeze error.

5th game in a row without a freeze-error!

pls try this:


1. change to Axis player
2. fixed start positions
3. change start position
4. choose AI level

as it looks like this





report if it works/sucks

have the same issue ,nothing works , I like Grodno but it whatever map "fatal ai error....... "   Please fix this .

Hi,

same error as you describe, on all maps. (Could not execute Rule:AI_Think2)

Is there a solution? Any fixes?

Believe me or not-

I just played [EF] Psel (2)  for 27minutes and lost (but thats something different)

I used the parameters shown and have the theory, that there musnt be a soviet player in the field above...  Or "comp player #2" shouldnt start at its default position..
This should work on all 2 player maps at least(?!)
However..
Im not an official here just a normal user giving its 2ct...


think they are spent by now

Since we talk about AI much here i gotta ask devs another question. I was playing 4vs4 7 bots and me in The Hochwald Gap and my whole team in Wehrmacht was on expert and we started on the top and the rest of the other team was 2 hard and 2 expert level, so 10 minutes into the game my whole team of ai:s are completely useless cause then 10 minutes into the game the american AI has captured the whole map and has us blocked of at our 2 bridges.

Then i got to ask, did you guys make the american AI smarter on that map or it is because the AI follows what  the player does? Cause i can admit, im not a 100% offensive player all the time but i tried in the beginning of the game to build some defensives lines but i got overun by 4 american players that had tons of allied soldiers and my team was trying to get past the small bridges with their soldiers getting stuck into each other, and no this is not 100% reason why they captured the whole map, the other bridge in our top side was open completely the AI in my team could have easily went that way but they all went to the small bridge. And when they got through the bridges and into the middle they never captured anything they just went forward to the american bases?!!

I mean, by looking at this you could really tell their AI's was really different developed?

So is this now just bunch of bullshit or why did the ai in my team made the game so it lost cause i cant kill 4 american teams by myself?

I deal with noob AI teammates all the time regardless of difficulty they are.  Play on some differant maps that aren't bridge dependent then the AI would be balanced.  Scheldt, Achelous River, Hochwald Gap, are just a few maps that AI is crap on.

It seems the AI error has been fixed :).

A patch should be released soon.

Yeah but why is the American AI able to handle the bridges perfectly but my whole team cant do shit?
