OK, for example, I am Lv 5 on America and Brits, 3 in Nazis and 2 in PE. Will Soviets/Ostheer have this kind of leveling up? And with icons that are at least SOMEWHAT realistic?

Also. On HQ buildings, there is usually that Blue Star flag (or, in the Realistic Skin pack I am about to install, the country's flag is flown) and will there be this flag (or better, the COUNTYS flag) on the buildings or is that undecided?

Another thing. Will this work similar to Joint Ops in that you can launch normal CoH and make a Skirmish with the Soviets/Ostheer on the EF maps or start a campaign this way. Because it would work easier that way than if it were separated. Less people scuttering all over to find that launcher, you know?

I propose to use the correct ranks and icons for all factions. I attached my proposition to this post. (In my table Waffen-SS=Panzer Elite)
   
But likely such Soviet ranks will be in the mod:

HOLLY SHIT! a new faction in CoH !!!!! where did you get it? you maybe mean the wehrmacht, but keep in mind.. the wehrmacht werent nazis, it was the regular army.

Lord! God! Again! The Panzer Elite fight in battles, where was the SS, they uses vehicles peculiar to the SS, they uses a perverted form of SS military ranks, etc.  And they are separate from the Wehrmacht! This is Waffen-SS! 100%! or OK - 90% not less
For example, you aren't lvl 3 of "the Nazi Party", you are lvl 3 of the some elite force. People can play a character-criminal in many games. But you сan think that you are lvl3 = Rottenleiter of the Wehrmacht, if you want it ^_^ lol
So I say PE=SS

N.B.: Legions (of east nations) of the Waffen-SS technically were not Nazis.

and by ranks he means like the Lv 1 = icon of the one triangle, 2 is two triangles, 16 is star, but in soviet/ostheer style. thats also what i meant.

Soviet rank icons will be epaulets of 1943.

Lehr division was an elite Heer formation just like Grossdeutschland.  Not SS although sometimes mistaken as one.
If you look at the original manual for WH, relic states the stormtroopers as SS(well in fact it states they are the combat and political arm of the Nazi party).Hence unlike any other infantry skin they were made with no insignia at all.
PE infantry and the rest of WH infantry ALL have WH/luftwaffe insignia.

German infantry has unrealistic uniforms as you know.
Of course, the Wehrmacht has SS units, the Panzer Elite has Luftwaffe troops, and the Americans have not only riflemen, but airborne too.
I always say that the Panzer Elite is the Waffen-SS what masked as Lehr division. The Waffen-SS had Panzergrenadier divisions too.
I see no irrefutable evidences about that the Panzer Elite is the Panzer Lehr, except wish of some people. But for myself, I found evidences that the Panzer Elite is the SS.
And this topic is not about the Panzer Elite
P.S. The Panzer Lehr was a Tank/Armoured/Panzer Division, not Mechanized/Motorized/Panzergrenadier. The Panzer Elite isn't so tankish.
