Mamayev Kurgan ;)

That would be epic - but I wanted to reserve that for a possible campaign :P

Oh, so I guess you're on the case of the missing epic battlefields? Awesome!  ;D

Dennis has a point, we do need more 1v1's. Mamayev Kurgan is at least a 3v3 in my mind. The new Kharkov map was supposed to be a 1v1, but I suck at judging map size :P

Tell me about it. Prague ended up 2vs2 in the end. And you're right about Mamayev Kurgan; to justify it, it's need to be at least 6 players. I was thinking maybe some of the hills in Teterev. Less famous, and simple!

I have always wanted to make some Italian maps, to be honest. I replicated Dawn of War's "Into the Breach" in an Italian-esque city, but that was years ago!

And I wonder if people are voting for Urban ruins because they haven't seen the upcoming maps... Although, if somebody could make something similar to Caen, I would be very impressed. That's a project I have never been able to task myself with.

I had an Italian map in the works but gave it up due to crap computer, loss of time, and flawed designs.

Sadly, there's not many buildings to support Italian maps unless it's pretty much strictly rural.

When in doubt, ruins. Flattened buildings have a strange tendency to look similar no matter where in the world they are.
But I know what you mean! It's a shame we're limited.

I considered making new textures for buildings to make them more similar to the Motherland but I've run short of time as said earlier :(

Though it might be a distraction, anything of the Italian type from you I would be ecstatic about :D

I would love to do something! Once the next map pack is out, I'll pretty much be out of a job, so there's no point in me not making new things! Even if they are off-topic.

Honestly, some of the pale-plaster buildings from the holland list can seem Italian-esque, but not many! I'd be damn limited.

Still, who knows what the future holds! On that topic, as anybody ever seen an urban hillside map before? This could get interesting...

Has that map ever come into fruition?

And secondly, are there any specific battles when Soviets clashed on Mediterranian soil? I don't know my Eastern Front History as much as I'd like to!

It was not released to public yet, however I got my hands on it due to a stamping task I received from Goober.

That's good! It looked promising!

[Edit] Come on people! There's still plenty more votes to be cast! You get three each, so go wild!

Well poop. It looks like we have 4 winners so far!

Here's hoping somebody can tip the scales, otherwise this is going to get messy! Only a few more days to go, guys!
