[13] Fishhunter & King Mydus attack #8
« on: August 21, 2012, 07:05:14 AM »
These axis commanders will be attacking sector #8, the Burgundy Territory. I expect doodles up asap so the allies have an easy time scheduling a date and time with us so everything goes smoothly and is easier for everyone to deal with.

Consult my Link for how to make doodles - newbielink:http://www.easternfront.org/forums/index.php?topic=8622.0 [nonactive]

The attackers stationed here are subject to change when map is updated.

Do you think I should also decrease the size of this map? Too many 3v3s. Potentially St. Hilare? Axis call

The problem isn't that the map is too big per se, but most 3v3 maps are unbalanced and/or broken... Also it sucks that the worst maps are in the most contested areas, like Prokhorovka was in one of the main combat zone, or Ruins...

Abuse is abuse and has to go.

Well then I need feedback to change these things. I fight in one specific front and I can not be everywhere at once so I don't really know how it feels.

Well it seems a mix of both imbalance, oversized, and unavailability call for a reduction in size. Make the change

This map will be dueled for on St. Hilare, unless you have other suggestions.

I'll leave it to the other guys to decide on a map change. As for a Doodle I think I will just piggy back off you guys :P ;D

If no one post a doodle, your attack maybe counted invalid.

Since KingMydus is new, you might want to do it.

Sort of, it almost looks good. I usually make each time slot one hour.

So 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00PM.

To make it more specific, but what you have is fine.

yeah, like the one I made for the 2 greek guys is a good example

Here's the thread to check it out newbielink:http://www.easternfront.org/forums/index.php?topic=8657.0 [nonactive]

It makes it alot easier to correspond with other people if its individual hours instead of ranges. for instance, if you post 2pm-7pm what if your opponent is unavailable till 4pm? but is from then to 7pm. That range would not work. If you made a time slot for 2pm 3pm 4pm 5pm 6pm 7pm then the allied players can check on the doodle 4pm 5pm 6pm 7pm and leave the others unchecked.
I think your the Commander the axis team needs, but not the one it deserves. So we'll welcome you. Because you can lead. Because your not a just Commander.

well the main axis problem is not balance its the fact we are so low on reliable players showing up to their matches. So we need to scale down maps or risk the axis getting defeated by default because they're getting too many attacks thrown at them at the same time. Right now we have 3 of our players out for various reasons and at we only have 18 signed up in total.

Actually, the Axis have ample Western Front support.

yeah but tell us that on the eastern front. If you attack us everywhere at full force we will in time lose because of the lack of players.
