I found a bike... again, and went to the north west airfield where I found pretty much nothing. I disconnected in the Control Tower so I can search for stuff when I reconnect at somepoint... unfortunately another patch was released and it's broke the game, can't connect to any servers ::)

I always go to servers where there are lots of people. Recently, I put tents in the fields next to Cherno and wait for noobs to inspect it, only to get a sniper bullet in the face by me ;)

But really, I usually don't play for more then 30 Min at a time because it does get boring.
The Russians think there sooo tough, wait till the Ostheer comes...

Gather all the people of EF forum together to play DayZ, try to arm everyone, run around in full force, burning and killing eveything in its path => people begin to act like the same way => not boring anymore. (just a concept)
I'm drunk now, I'm outranked you in philosophy.

I would play it but it sounds like it gets boring after a while if u have no friend to play with. At least thats what I hear

Om Nom Nom Nom
"Panzer-Guppy ready for battle!"
"Ha Ha Ha! We have the ZEAL!"
"Grenadiers! Fall In!!"

I've had some fun without friends, but it's irritating if you've survived for a long time and die without somebody there to retrieve the stuff for your corpse (and hopefully avenge your death!). I does get boring by yourself though, and it's good with another pair of eyes looking out for danger, yet it doesn't necessarily mean you're safer as me and Walki have discovered a few times. The security a buddy provides can make you complacent and less paranoid than usual... which is deadly in DayZ :P

On the contrary, if you have more than 1 person, you'd probably get caught faster IMO. But having a friend just to talk to if fun. Running around for an hour just to get shot is or sounds boring.

It's pretty easy to hide yourself in ArmAII/DayZ... I mean, I've come across groups of up to 5 people just hiding in the woods that I had no idea were there... and in an open field, it doesn't matter if you're on your own or with 10 other people, you still stick out like a sore thumb even when prone (mainly due to distance rendering)... which is why I generally prefer to stick to the woods :P Actually, if you were with 10 other people you'd probably be okay as only a maniac with a ghillie suit and a thermal L85A2 would have a chance of killing all of you ;D
Towns I guess are different because people could be anywhere, looting stuff... I've been caught out in supermarkets a few times and it's not nice to be murdered once your character's found his or her first Mountain Dew :(

Are hackers a big problem? I see a lot of videos on YouTube poking fun at hackers but again, there are a lot of these videos.

Yes certainly they are. They usually turn you into cows, drop all players from a certain hight or teleport every player to the NW Airfield. The best way to prevent that is just leaving the server asap.
