Round 4-One Cold Morning...
« on: June 04, 2012, 01:54:06 PM »
After the Axis pushed forward to face a strong and sturdy Soviet defense, both sides begin to realize this will be no easy march to the top...

It is the Allied Turn. They may begin to make attack orders at will. Games will be played roughly until next Sunday evening for this turn.

For more helpful links:

If you have not read the Rules, that's probably a good idea.

If you need specific map layouts, you can find them here.

If you would like to consult your team before attack, you can do so by visiting The Kremlin for the Allies or the Eagle's Nest for the Axis.

Have a wonderful morning!

Cranial

PS: If any commanders find that there are commanders whom are inactive, please let me know, we have reserves waiting!

PPS: Sorry for the extended wait on the shoutcast guys, I'll try to get it out today, I was trying to get our nice intro to work in time :(

If you haven't been deployed and command is away, I'd take action into your own hands.

I might extend the deadline till Friday as I hate to see forfeits, but if that's what it has to come down to...

One thing I would like to ask Cranial. I don't know why allies player can start attack sector #3 and #4 when their invasion on Omaha on sector #1 and #2 haven't complete????
The D-Day landing only applied to sector #1 and #2 right. not the #3 and #4.

Yes, but Rule 19 states that you can attack adjacent territories to newly acquired territories.

So for example, if the invasion at Sector #1 gives the allies victory, the game at Sector #3 can then be played with a different person. If the attack at Sector 1 is unsuccessful, the attack on Sector 3 is not played.

EDIT: Snugzta has notified me that he will deploy more people within the next 12 hours or so. I can accept this extended deadline. Just make sure we play the games, verdammit!

And if you dont succeed in taking #1 or #2 then the potential battles will have 2 be closed :P

It has come to my attention that Commandant Snug has resigned from the Axis.  :'(

New Axis players are open to be added in order of whom applied first, and commanders must now be re-picked.

I am sorry that this round did not produce so many games.

Following this round, the Axis will receive a 1 week break to recuperate. No attacks will be ordered. This also allows me to catch up on casting.

Games have been locked. Further discussion can continue here and/or in subforums.

I apologize that this round turned out in so many forfeits. The tourney will be given a week's break to allow the Axis time to recuperate for the sudden leadership change. (And to let us catch up on cast!)

Notice that one round is Pending. I am consulting Tourney staff on how to award it seeing that one of the allied players may not have shown because his activity is suffering.

EDIT: The attack on territory #9 has been counted as Axis Forfeit. Territory will be ceded to the Axis.

Starting Now, the Axis have their time to recover and recruit. Discussion can continue in any open board.
