Don't tell me THQ and Relic are following the big-name groups like EA.

In a sense they already did this with Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II no?

So online matches aren't going to be fair because someone spent a little extra money? That's bullshit.

Whatever gonna happen in CoH 2, I will try it anyway. ( '_'  )
But I think, if anyone ever enjoyed EF mod, will have "this CoH 2 is not as good as EF" feeling in the 1st time they play CoH 2 but it will pass eventually (or maybe not :P)

Oh yeah, I'm still willing fall into the CoH2 honey trap as I'm sure the game itself will be fun. But given how important balance is to Multiplayer, it seems strange to have added in-game currency. Hopefully it's nothing more than something to spend on non-game changing additions that Relic fart out to keep the game somewhat interesting as it gets older, but I wouldn't put it past them to let you buy 'XP boosts' or 'Unit Boosts' with in-game currency like they've added to the preorders just to make a little extra cash on the side from idiots lured by the illusion of More XP = Better Units = Moar Winz!

In a sense they already did this with Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II no?

Did what? Warhammer never appealed to me so I haven't played it. :P

What coh made so great were the guys that made vcoh. Then the staff got changed and they pooped out OF crap. Since coh2 will be made by the same guys that ruined coh, i have not much faith in it. Maybe coh2 will be good, we will see.

I hold my faith in the modding community on this one. CoH2 really doesn't look like that much of an improvement over vCoH. A few new additions here and there, but mostly the same, just different armies. If they don't open it up for modding I am going to be seriously pissed.

Added DLC and expansion packs where mods would have done 100X better

In-Game Currency Gift to be Used Towards Purchasing Future Content

I really don't like this phrase but I hope Relic will not do the same error of CoH Online. We will see  ;)

Hopefully, those buyables are only skins or other cosmetic changes so that wallet warriors can look as elite as they want and still get their asses kicked by regulars.

I hope for this.

Maybe we will can buy DLC where we can have Rewards Units, with the same concept of balance of vCoH.

Оr/and  for things that will help us in campain.
Maybe they wont do any mistakes and they are creating this ingame payment method for players that love to play single player and capmains.

And for multiplayer games they will provide only different skins.
It is not clear enought at this point, but I hope soon it will be.

Reward units in Vcoh actually balance breaker, so don't be hopeful about it. Check Roos, M18, Gwagon, T17, Staghound etc.

Hey, they did fix them in the end... that's always a plus, even when the fixes were long overdue

I said that because was the first possible idea comes in my mind.  :)

Anyway I don't see COH a game maded for DLC like can be a FPS game, where we have DLC with "Weapon Packages" or other stuff.

Considering what the game is starting to look like, we may be able to customize weaponry for our troops. Thus I imagine that they maybe adding rare and experimental weaponry (maybe like the AVT-40, AVS-36, MkB 42(H), MP43 MP40/II, G-41(W), etc.) Hell maybe we will even see Silenced M1895 Mosin Revolvers with some Soviet NKVD teams XD
