KT will be in no doubt, IS-2 would be a match for the KT, not like the uber-nerf version with have in EF. If tanks are capturable, makes me wonder if they're going to add in stuff like crew members getting injured or killed whenever the tank is hit, would make combat much more unpredictable even in heavy tanks... no more, running in with a Panther, killing as much as you can, then running back to your Pio's for repairs. Also, if this is the case, is tank combat going to be that touch more realistic? Like Men of War... with health bars.

Actually the IS2 was far inferior to the KT, but slightly better to the Tiger (not at the distant though). The current ingame version is not so inaccurate as you think. However IS2 and panther could knock out each other from the same distance by being the panther much more mobile. Maybe thats why i get nervous when i face a panther spam

I would laugh so loud when Coh2 has EF1.0 conditions: No retreat, can´t capture weapons, weapon crews that kill full health volks, axis winning because soviets start to spam kats all the time xD

Was talking in game, where tank combat happens at about 5ft and penetration tables shouldn't really matter In reality, tank combat is much more than just a war of numbers (who's got the better gun, who's go the thicker armor), as anything is possible, a lot of KT's had engine problems, some of the time it come down to crew competence, the Tiger at Bovington was knocked out by a Churchill when the 57mm shell jammed the turret from moving, far removed from what a Chruchill's capabilities are on paper. Not that any of this affects the game, I still expect the IS-2 to be a a match for the KT, not saying the IS2 would win toe to toe with a KT in game, but it would certainly leave it a little worse for wear. IS-2 would probably be on par with a Tiger 1, the Tiger 1 can get off more shots in a shorter space of time that an IS2.

I'm looking forward to seeing images of a sexy IS-2 in game now anyway. I have until October Relic, and I want it to be pretty goddamn sexy... put it in a bikini if you have to.
