The forgotten front? Who forgot it exactly? I think only the crappy US education system ignores the EF. The rest of the world learns about it fine AFAIK.

We talked about the blitzkrieg into France but not too much about Stalin and his struggle to hold the line. That I had to learn on my own through books. War in general is never covered in US schools. They will mention what kicked it off (in Europe, it was Hitler invading Poland for Lebanstram IIRC ) and what happened afterwards (alot of ppl died, Cold War ) but never what happens in between. US education considers the actual war to be "unimportant" and you should only focus on other events.
