The CoD, total war and other series kept same gameplay, add some shits and rise the video setting to a ridiculous level and people keep buying them anyway. I won't be surprised if people do the same thing with CoH 2.
I really hope CoH 2 will impress me but I'm fear it will not. Can't blame Relic though, CoH has a very good gameplay and it's very hard to improve something is already too good. Making a game is hard, making a (real good) sequel is even harder.
And I saw what happened with CoH's balance and patches too so I will wait until 2016 when I got another comp and save enough money to buy CoH 2
Right now I will wait patiently as always (wait for the Ostheer first   ).

There is indeed, entirely crowd funded...inXile raised nearly $3 million to produce it... and Obsidian are helping.

Its comments like the ones we are seeing now (other forums) that make me wonder if anyone is even aware of EF's presence. It would seem as though they aren't  .

Hitman Absolution, C&C Generals 2, SimCity 5, Wasteland 2, Splinter Cell Retribution... Anchorman 2. 2013 is a good year, but fuck, I'm going to be broke by 2014.

Not to mention there will be new games on other platforms too

Undoubtedly this is something I won't want to hear, it is ugly indeed but no where near of a "fact". If the patch is delayed everyone should suspect what are the reasons behind it, especially if everyone knows that we were working to release the patch at Eastern Front anniversary.

Then again, no matter how much you want the patch to be released right now, that we stop working on whatever we are doing right now to finish it ASAP, it ain't going to happen. Real life is always priority, so no matter if the patch is 200% ready, it will need to wait a little longer until someone has some free time to pack it up. That's the general rule of EF and any other mod.

You are right on that point, Modern Combat mod took 4 years for it to realease and alot of people thought it would die but no Its runing smoothly
