Well just weather in general can effect troops. At least thats what I thought. Maybe it is just snow.

Afaik there's only snow in CoH 2 as possible weather which can evolve into snowstorms and all that. Seems like an interesting thing.

The StuG could be a III or a IV, we cannot accurately tell from this picture. That means that it could very well be the same model as the CoH StuG (like the other German vehicles will probably be). Also, the gray-top troops in the first picture are seen exclusively wielding kar98s. However, in the second one, they are seen with a mixture of kar98s, mp40s, and what looks like either a PzB39 or an MG34. This is in contrast to the brown-tops, who are not present in the first picture, and present in the second only wielding kar98s. This leads me to believe that the brown-tops may well be the new volks (tier 1 infantry), while the gray-tops are the gren replacement (tier 2) and can purchase weapon upgrades.

No. In CoH 2 we will see 3 kind of seasons in different maps:

Winter Maps
Spring Maps
Autumn Maps

Its clearly a stugIII if you know your tanks  . The PzIV, Panther Tiger tanks look to have the same models as vCOH and there is even a wreck of a recently destroyed Sdkfz250. It's interesting to see that tanks like the T34 have different skins/stowage although the question is how that is controlled. As for uniform colours, the pre-release vCOH pictures showed many differences to the released product, so I'd wait till we see the final ones.

around the stug there are many german solders (i think they are the main inf of relics ostheer)
so lets call them for now landsers^^

behind them are 2 panzer IV

but when you look in front of the first panzer IV there are on the left and the right something that looks like an officer
maybe a new 2men squad? or an upgrade for existing squads? we will see XD

Vehicles look OK.  The uniforms look like baby suits though.  All that's missing is the bib!

As for the troops. The ones in green are ROA troops, that is. Russian Liberation army. As for the green, ease of unit identification, plus i doubt the Germans are going to give any uniforms suited towards winter to their russian allies

But a ton of stuff in those screenshots. Got stuff like those chaps with the Gewehr 43s and Panzerfausts, rather reminds me of PE Panzergrenadiers, so let's call them that. Got people with white helmets in the background and panzerfausts as well, let's call them Pioneers because i recall earlier images with them equipped with MP40s. Though that seems like an Upgrade.

You've got another image showing off a light halftrack for the wehrmacht as well.

Plus one preview seems to confirm the SU-85 for the soviets.

Here are some nice pictures. From these ones, i can say that animations of infantry seem to be same, even mortar crew is very similar.

lol we had Pershings in 1944 France in CoH1, it would be nothing new but Relic has already stated that the game will take you from 1941-1945, from the German invasion to the ultimate victory in Berlin.
