And the Guards killed a AC from sniper range :P. But nice shoutcast guys :D. I think this is one of your better ones :).

All the DC Comic Book Heroes decided to reside in Soviet Russia for a couple of years ;D

Just out of curiosity Snugz, why didn't you make a Panzer IV Infantry Support Tank ???. Im no expert but I would imagine that would have helped vs Guards. I know their AT nades are powerful but still :P.

Om Nom Nom Nom

A P4 would have been excellent for Snug against the incoming Soviet Horde. ACs have paper thin armor and would have been ripped apart. However at the time I THINK Snug was accounting for the TH's, ATGs, and the incoming AT tanks like the IS-2 and the SU-76 but didn't notice the state of despair Darc was in. It would have been the correct counter to those Guards.

MP44s have more utility though. P4s can't cap, and they can't combat ATGs or THs effectively enough. He needed something to cap with and to combat other things (ATGs and THs).

Hey, nice replay, but guards are even out when facing vet 3 KCH or alot of PGs. I got a game with matti2 that i played. I kind of sucked, but that was mainly because i didn't field nowhere near as many units as a proper Soviet commander should. I'll send the replay later today.
Also, why the hating on the Tiger Ace and Jagdtiger?  ???

Interesting replay, I can certainly see that Guards need a little work, maybe a range nerf, but that's for balancers to decide.

One thing... was wondering if Yauz could disable 'Object Scarring' in options? Wasn't such a problem in this game, but the majority of custom models tend to have flickering 'burn' textures, it's kinda ugly. Overall though, great replay.

This is a hot topic on the internal.

I noticed the JP4 was flickering but it's not such a big deal. What the hell does object scarring take away anyway?

'Object Scarring' controls the burn marks that appear whenever a vehicle is hit by a shell. I have no idea why the skins flicker, might be an export problem or failing to apply a certain modifier before exporting. Some vehicles don't have it, I noticed the ISU and JPzIV don't suffer from it too bad but the T-34, IS2, T70 and T90 do. It's something I've been meaning to test for ages now, but I can never find the time to sort out my export tools. I might have to import some stuff and see what we're doing wrong before we export the rest of these vehicles.

So it's relatively minor I see. I don't find too much fault with it or anything, I keep it turned off in the first place xD

Argh, forgot to save the match.  :-[ Also, how come the assault ability that blitz players get is so easy to spam? I thought wehr are ammo heavy for upgrades and the like.

Well I wouldn't say it's spammable. The only squad I'd be using it with is volks though, they can throw 3 nades at a time as opposed to Grens whom throw 2 or KCH whom throw 1.

If they're being spammed you need to deny the ammo. Or they aren't placing enough mines or are not getting shrecks. Use that to your advantage. If your opponent goes blitz off the bat for assualt nades (WHY?) then go for a quick M8 if you can afford it. He likely won't have shrecks or the muni for a faust.

I've seen a M8 kill a StuH.

That'd also be a weird way to go through your doctrinal trees but it's the correct way as far as I'm concerned for Blitz. The other two abilities lack practicality in early and mid game.

It was a 2v2, and the PE went heavy light vehicles to include light AT half-tracks and marders, and the problem i had was that my units would march to the front and get downed, forcing me to either lose them or retreat them a long way back to base. Also, It didn't help that my SU-85 got killed quckly, and my arty firebase only got to fire one barrage before it died.  :'(
