Haha, I didn't know the RMC were as equally as despised as the Brits. Whats up with them?

Sorry, been away for a while.

Cold War match ups are cool, but unbalanced. Strafing conscripts makes baby Stalin cry.

Good shoutcast guys. I think you had a really good mixture of zooming, tac map etc. in that game.

I was really hoping Hansie would get away... :(

Just as a side note: Guards are not op, you simply need 4 man squads when you want to fight them ;) The nades they throw got the same stats as US nades.

Nice shoutcast, gj (:

Really? I totally disagree! As you see in the shoutcasts there are serveral instances where the guard squards just do superman alike stuff. Taking down 3x 4man mp44 squards with def vet and then retreating without allmost loosing any men seems pretty OP to me. There was also a instance where 1 guard squard raped my AC from long range rofl. This needs to be looked at further imo.

Anyway thanks for the support and nice game

I wouldn't call it rape on the AC. They just did marginally more damage to it than it was to them. Many of those PGs were low health already and I agree you really need 4 man squads against Soviets - against Guards in particular.

You mainly lost your units to the grenades, if you had dodged them better it would have been a lot different.
Currently we've put Guards on our watchlist and fine tune them if necessary. We're also adressing some small issues with soviet smg's and assault rifles in general.

EDIT: And yes, Cold War matchups are epic :D

I still think the Guards were somewhat too strong and need tuning.  Guys, please check how well 4 man Group Zeal vet 3 Def PGs do versus vet 3 Guards with vet 3 full offensive global.  Just look at 29:20, even after moving the nades do nuclear AoE.  And also 48:10...no Guard nades thrown, 4 men group zeal and still raped.  That was really no excuse there.

Anyways, I was wanting to give our subscribers some lead time, but it seems the secret is out.  Thanks for the support guys  :)

29:20 - The PPSs here were fine, you were running away. The nade was a pretty perfect hit, the move was quite late.
48:10 - The back 2 squads weren't really helping out, they should've moved closer. The first two were focus fired. The guards were also taking mass damage. You could've crushed them if the back two squads were microed a little closer.

You really need to play the game to feel the frustration I think.  We'll even discount the nades arguement, since I see Rangers get the same nades, and Guards are elite infantry too.  We're pretty fine with the nades.  But 48:10, we weren't even counting the 2 squads in the back.  Just counting the first two that got raped in seconds.  One of the squads barely had the time to throw a flame nade (that does nothing versus the Guards) before getting mowed down.

Just counting the 2 squads vs 2 squads, Guards lost 2 men to small arms, CS none.  PE lost a whole squad, and another squad had to retreat with half health.  If the first squad had stayed, I'm certain it would have been totally destroyed too; and it wasn't even focus fired.

Again, please check how well 4 man Group Zeal vet 3 Def PGs do versus vet 3 Guards with vet 3 full offensive global.  Sandbox it or something.
