Yeah probably a few too many zooms. I like to see the flanks happening. Also, when the two sides are building up forces and not attacking, maybe you could open up the tacmap in future too so we can see the defensive line building and unit composition.

I dont mind the zoom but I second the tactical map idea :D

OK guys, I'll try to limit my zooming a tad bit more, but honestly, I really like zooming sometimes.  As for the minimap advice, that will definitely be used in our next shoutcast.

@Stealth
My normal PGs are a re-skin of Spaulick's PGs.  I re-colored the uniform and helmet, and then I added the rolled up sleeves by combining it with sapper arms.
The 1st SS Leibstandarte guys were skinned myself, and their equipment are from Crasius's RGO files.

In short, you can find and download Spaulick's PGs here:
http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?249031-Spaulicks-Skins-%28updated-31.-July-PE-Grens-and-Mixed-Squad-%29 [nofollow]

But the short sleeves for them and the Leibstandarte troops are unavailable.

Since I noticed you were one of the few people to subscribe to the Sublime Channel (the most loyal subscribers are the ones who are there when no one else cares, instead of jumping onto the bandwagon if there are a lot of subscribers), PM me for more info on my skins & sounds.  I will reward you.

Aw...
I want the skin too...
But I am yet have account on Youtube so its okay I guess... :P
Congrats stealthattack1... ;D

After see all of your Vid, I can see how it improve by each vid...
Much like Fish improvement in game... ;D

Some of my critic and suggestion for improvement:
1) Change side can really distract the viewer (other shoutcaster I've seen never change the player they view) I've seen decrease in it lately but I hope you can keep viewing one side.
2) Early on, there always a silent gap that quite uncomfortable, maybe you can fill it by commenting about map, about latest strategy you usually utilize, or anything else. Keep the comment flowing as that is the heart of shoutcast.
3) The zoom is quite okay right now, but to make it more comfortable for viewer, maybe you can point it through some edit (example: Inuki shoutcast has small box down right that sometimes show event on other map side or current event in zoom in version)

Anyway, you've great job for these shoutcasts! ;D

While distracting, it's also crucial. Even with the Fog of War off you can't see enemy positions on the tact-map, and you can't see what the enemies' army is composed of. Switiching sides also allows you to see what's being built or teched to.

Thx but I honestly think I got worse since that last game XD. Need more SU practice :P

I agree that you shouldn't switch to pther player AS much. Its good to do it every now and then since it gives you perspective about their resources but not too often as I too was confused for a second (I was like wait, SU went from 400 vps to 150?!?).

I also think you should elaborte on the different strategies that occur over all. You mention them but dont necessarily explain them :P. I only say this b/c maybe new ppl might be watching these games and aren't sure whats going on.

You guys also spent a majority of the time in the middle. TBH most of the acton was there but still, you could venture to the sides every now and then :)

Honestly I haven't seent that many other shoutcasters so I wouldn't know if you dong a bad job in comparision. But great work anywho :D

I just based my opinion from three or so shoutcast...
These shoutcasts are the only that do so...
While it is crucial, it kinda disturb the flow with the lag when change faction view and can be annoying...
Pretty much like view a movie and there is a pause...

In other shoutcast, they use:
1) Edited video that show other side view so the flow remain undisturbed
2) Ask the other shoutcaster to state their opinion about what the unseen player state

I find that these method not only make the video keep flowing and critical about gameplay, but also increase the entertainment value...

Though once or twice change in view is acceptable...
It become problem when it change the view more then five times...
I am sorry for my bad

Thanks for the feedback guys!

The side change.
The reason why we are often changeing the view to a other player is to give ouer viewers insight on what is happening to the enemy aswell (tech, economy, troops, production ETC)
We want to comment on the whole game rather than on one player when we do a Commentary Shoutcast. All through i agree with you guys, that the side switch was maybe abit too heavy in the latest shoutcast. 1 reason for that is there was 4players in total (alot of shit to keep track of) so it was hard to follow everyone at once. We will in the future try to organize the view for 2v2 casts a little bit better, so that each man follows 1 team so that we can decrease the side change a little.

Early silent gap
Usually theres not much to talk about in the start of the game. We will look into that a little more, and figure something to say that will fill the gap :)

Edited video

We can definately add all the facy edited shit you see in some other casts. The problem is that Yauz is the one who records the games, while im the one with the video editing skills and software. So that means Yauz has to send the whole recording to me wich takes alot of time (big size) We have so far just skipped this whole back and forth process to get the shoutcast edited, but we are looking into it.

Hey Ante,

Thanks for pointing those things out.  You have some epic suggestions.  What intrigued me the most was switching sides, and how you said some other shoutcasters have a way that can view everything without switching sides?  If so, I would be very interested to see how they make this possible.  Please give a link if you have it.  This is especially crucial, because I will be doing the tactical map more often now, and it only shows the units on one side of the battle, even with FOW turned off, which is also what Cranial said.

Anyone want to second Ante on us not switching player perspectives?  I need a consensus on this thing, and I'll also ask the question inside our next shoutcast.

Thanks to listen to my feedback... ;D
Now for some example:

Inuki: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG9x-6phvkA
Comment: He doesn't cover all of the enemy player data, but his video show stuff that goes unseen when the shoutcaster is focus
                           on one event.

Tales of Heroes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqUl8a-G154&list=PL7526586C871BF82F&index=7&feature=plpp_video
Comment: This is a dual shoutcast where both of the shoutcaster comment about the status and strategies of both player
also, the best Company of Heroes play I've ever seen.

                           http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeDB8Qvpylw&list=PL7526586C871BF82F&index=6&feature=plpp_video
Comment: Likewise, this also a dual shoutcast. The primary reason for this one: it is bloody funny... ;D

Those are some example and hope it helps... :)
