Fish...... General of the Army (one of very few men to hold that title, he was a 5 Star General) John J. "Blackjack" Pershing led the Marine Expeditionary Force during the American intervention into WW1. Prior to that he led the hunt for Pancho Villa in Mexico. He was the most famed American general of his time and he died during the earlier stages of WWII.
The vehicle is named for two American servicemen who posthumously received the Medal of Honor: Private First Class Stuart S. Stryker, who died in World War II and Specialist Four Robert F. Stryker, who died in the Vietnam War.
There were two Jacksons . Andrew Jackson (1812 general) and Jeffersn Jackson IIRC (US Civil War)
