I guess we are so used to English war commands and such so it all sounds wrong when you say it. For example the famouse MEDIC is sjukvårdare who basically translates to sickkeeper XD
Or it is the simple fact that we havent been to war for like 200 years so it sounds so ¨unreal¨ with swedish in a war

Ive always wanted to try the Napoleon version of total war but never got around to it. Sorry to get off topic

I found Napoleon pretty limited compared to Empire. (11 Playable factions in ETW compare to just 7 in NTW)... the era's aren't massively different either.

I'd like an Industrial:Total War. Crimean War, American Civil War, Boer War, Russo-Japanese War, The Great War. Most of the same, just smaller unit sizes; instead of having to command 30 at a time, maybe command 10 or so to allow flexibility. Fans may see it as a bastardisation of the TW franchise... but fuck em... I want a WW1 total war game!

Pretty sure they're headed in that direction anyway. The Shogun expansion will have a lot of new features that would fit into a WW1 game well and Empire added WW1 suitable things too. Things like ships bombarding land units etc. will be very suitable in WW1 and the same mechanic could be used for aircraft as well. I'm curious how they would handle tanks though.

Yeah I saw that, the hand cranked Gattling gun looks awesome, perfect American Civil War weapon right there.

Tanks, well, I'm sure there'd be enough Arty in any 1 game to deal with tanks before they got near your troops.  They'd be slow as hell. I'd like to know how early Air warfare would work, they could probably take off from where you deploy them, a lot of images of WWI planes I've see they've usually landed in a field somewhere. The introduction of FOW might help the tactical aspect a bit... as well as make tanks a little more dangerous. Would extend the Aircraft role significantly (for observation and spotting).

You know, the game probably isn't even in development but I'm feeling giddy about the concept already.

An proper WW1 game RTS would be neat. We got the 1918 mod but it aint finished yet. :C
And yes. Napoleon era, that kind of Swedish is kind of old compared to new one. So I guess it works in that kind of era/war but lets say.. modern warfare? XD Nooo..
Any guess on the game? XD

Yeach Maxi, i also played beta of TGW mod but playstyle is very diffrent for me. We should play one time together this mod .

To game. Looks like simulator of tanks but i don't know this game.
