Question
« on: October 13, 2011, 05:38:28 AM »
If I get Tales of Valor, will that give me the Brits and PE? Or do I have to get Opposing Fronts? Not sure where to post this, so I just put it here. But I'm asking since when I pressed the PE faction, it said to purchase Tales of Valor.

Tales of Valor will give you all 4 armies and reward units. If you are multiplayer focused, this is all you need. It will only give you the 3 ToV campaigns though, and not the original US, Brit and PE campaigns. It will also allow you to play all the operations.

Opposing Fronts will give you the PE and Brit campaigns, and access to these armies in multiplayer but not their reward units.

The original CoH will give US and Wehr armies and the original US campaign but not their reward units.

Get COH anthology ;D. You get everytinhg so there's no sweat :P

But If I had to chose 1 I would get Opposing fronts. You get 2 campaigns and access to all factions. It just seems better value wise :D

Opposing Fronts only gives PE and Brits. Unless you already have original CoH, ToV gets you all factions. It also gives the reward units and the operations.

However, the ToV campaigns are crap.

Oppsie :-[. I was under the impression Opposing fronts gave you all factions. I wuld get the orginal COH then if you haven't already done so :P. Ami and Wher are funner :D.

But Im assuming that you already have the original COH so I recommend Opposing Fronts. The campaigns are better than the reward units IMO. Nothing you cant live without ;)

I agree, if you already have vCoH, you must buy OF. Then if you want to buy ToV later, you should buy it on Steam when it is on special price :).

I have a question, if I bought any CoH key on steam, but I installed a normal CoH (not on steam) instead. Can I use that key for normal CoH?

Yes, you only have to activate your key on your Relic account no matter what your combination of games or where they're installed. CoH comes with all content no matter which version you have, it's all a matter of unlocking it with CD keys in your Relic Online account. There should be an option after you log in, "Add a product" or something like that.

ToV DOES have a campaign. BUT it is very short (9 missions) and to some ppl the missions aren't that great.

@stealthattack1: I think he means steam. So yes :P
