Cromwell AA & M19 Duster
« on: September 14, 2011, 10:50:20 PM »
I have been playing COH and EF for a long time now and the one thing that always struck me was the lack of serious mobile AA for the Americans and the Brits, so my suggestion is to include the above mentioned AA tanks.

A27 Cromwell AA MKII with twin 20mm anti aircraft guns.

Right you must be plain high, the US have the Halftrack Upgrade that gives you a quadruple .50 cal mount on a very mobile vehicle that does wonders versus Airborne planes and Infantry alike, while the British have the Bofors emplacements which means they don't need a mobile version of an AA gun. Anyway they don't need AA cause the only plane they have to deal with is the PE Lufft Tank Killer which isn't really much to deal with anyway.

Plus the Duster is actually the M42 Duster which was in fact deployed in Korea not WW2.

The reason the Germans have such good dedicated AA tanks is cause the Allies are the only ones with any serious Plane Support anyway

Oh, I remember this gun from Men of War. Double-barreled self-propeled nightmare - even PZIV sometimes lose to this monster.

Well buddy I don't bother deployiong my Tanks anywhere near where my opponents can see them so they can deploy a giasnt AT barrage, also the M3 Halftack with Quad shouldn't be in the middle of the Planes target area and you need MORE THAN ONE OF ANY AA UNIT TO KILL A FLYING PLANE.

im going to have to say no for this one because germans dont really have any airplanes except the one for pe and thats it. theres no need for aa for allies. now british and americans use commandos and airbourne respectivly and that means the germans need aa, which they have :(
Its a beautiful day to kill, dont you think so??

And the Americans will still have Quad .50s, the Brits will still have Bofors, and the Soviets will still have the T-90

I recommend for the closure of this topic ASAP
