My problem with Narshon
« on: August 08, 2011, 06:52:50 PM »
In my opinion, you guys need to fix a problem of the Narshon. that problem is the Narshon is so inactive and in my case it is too dumb, as you can see in a match vs AI, when i stable its main gun to allowed it to shoot but it kept standing there watching the T 34 destroyed it and i clicked my mouse so hard but cant make it to fire and in a few occasion it did fire but just until the T34 took away 2/3 of its HP and that was too late though its fire power is strong . And sometime it automatcally fired at infantries when a tank was moving next to it

Set it up a little away from the front to prevent enemy tanks to get too close. After it's locked down, it needs another 15 seconds to fire it's main gun, take account of that.
A bug like you described never occured to me, it always fired after the 15 seconds went by.

Oh so it gets 15 seconds to lock down and fire. Jeez too long man i used it in emergency moment when T34s and SU raping my base and wasted but can you guys buff it a little bit ? decrease the lockdown time and increase its damage slightly.

The nashorn is meant to be used as defensive unit, like the Flak 88 that replace. If we just let it fire at will would be unfair.

There's no problem with the narshon, your just using it wrong. if you give it an escort and keep it out of direct fire you can tear apart a base with the thing while keeping nicely out of the range of the defences.

IMO the Nashorn has a 15 second waiting phase is b/c in comparison to the Flak 88 it thakes some time to set up. An 88 takes like 20 seconds 2 build so the Nashorn takes 15 to get operational. Its more to keep it fair than anything. However if the nashorn is targeting infantry rather than tanks then that could be a problem. Maybe the tank was out of range?
