I think the KV-2 is a bit too powerful. I sent 2 jagdpanzers after one that was alone and one got destroyed so I retreated. A second KV-2 came so called in a Jagdpanther and it lost half its health before destroying it >:(. Maybe the Kv-2 should be more effective versus infantry than tanks. I would think that would make sense given its an artillery tank, not a tank destroyer.
Something else destroyed your tank destroyers or you have and older version of this mod (not 1.40) or your talking about ISU-152.

The KV-2 is too effective against tanks for a mid game anti infantry vehicle. It counters everything except the He-129 strafing runs. Watching the slow 40 kg shell of doom moving towards your vet 3 tankbuster blobs while your panzerschreks rockets bounce off harmlessly is depressing.

Btw idk the PE faction int completely defenseless versus aircraft. If I'm correct the armored car can shoot aircraft down(but not so well :P).

With PE you can choose 3 different docs to complement your main strategy, for example with luftwaffe in the rigth side you have: luftwaffe squads (early game advanced repair and flak 38 AA emplazament]) -> Wirbelwind!! The AA unit of PE. 88 (the AT gun hunter of pe ^^)

But if you play as tank hunter your AT power is to big with 2x sreks spending only 255/75 apc rounds, early hetzer/jagdpanzer, teller mines.... then you dont have AA guns.

 Your'e probably right  :P. Maybe it was b/c they both had some veterency?

KV2 is a good tank, but it eats up alot of manpower to get, added to that it's comically slow setting up a trap for it shouldn't be too much of a challenge, or artillery could ruin it's day.
it's also 5 doctrine points to get, that's quite alot.
course once it gets going it's just death to many PE units.

KV-2s are death to all PE units until you can get Panther Battlegroup.

but remember a vet3 kv2 can still become dangerous to your panther if dont move

but if you keep moving around the kv2 it should be a easy kill for a panther

KV2 shouldnt fight tanks. Actually the KV2 is pretty weak in defence despite its high health

I have just "discovered" this amazing mod. Its a fantastic work. Thank you EF team.
But I have some complains. I think the russians are to easy to beat. They dont capture points and not get any fuel or ammo. So they not get reely heavy reforcment later in the game.
Are you working on this problem?
