Maybe we should secretly make a patch in with Soviets are OP and just give it to him, no one else. He would be happy :)

The Russians think there sooo tough, wait till the Ostheer comes...

its realy sad to see which way he goes...
and its more than unfair that he talks so bad about the balance which is atm the best we ever had and becomes better again in the next patch

im worried about that some players who read his posts on gr.org dont want to test the mod...

atm we had online the problem that 90% of all games are ony vs comp
and posts like these of red makes it not better :(

i have different experiences.
I watch broadcasts often and ask plp what they think of the mod. All say EF died long ago. I think its the because of 1.0. Most players were looking forward to this mod and were dissapointed.

Its not because the balance hasnĀ“t changed since then but i think EF is "uncool" to higher lvl players.

Apart from that i dont think Red displaced plp by this thread. Its not very frequented.

But i think we should stop talking about Red while he is banned. Kinda unfair when he cant respond  :P

A little unfair that he posts in other forums bagging the mod and balance team just because his views weren't shared by the rest of us either.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

true
i also know many people who said after 1.0 they dont want to test the mod again :(
i mean yes the balance was realy crap in 1.0^^ but what does the people think? nothing has been changed????
but what do you mean with "uncool" is it that you cant lvl up?
this is the most feedback i get when i ased the people why they dont want to play ef. its just the level. 95% say thats its sensless to play if you dont get a level up or stats or something like that

but i think we can thank god to get a 2nd chance with the ostheer.

Most people are probably still under the impression that Soviets can't retreat or recrew weapons and don't have vet. They still probably still view them as a noob faction because they think they miss these key components. The level thing is still a big downer though. Not only is there nobody playing automatch but there's not really much of a point either for these rank whoring people. The Ostheer will be VERY thoroughly balanced this time around. We will simply not have a 3rd chance at getting the GR crowd on board again. The OH release will have to go very well.

i mean like playing brits in 2.601 (still broken faction)

The Ostheer will be VERY thoroughly balanced this time around

somehow i doubt that

You doubt my power? :P

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

lol i dont doubt you, but when i look back i see the difficulties of balancing. When some plp (majority) want to change a ability and one person doesnt agree because his opinion is more powerful :P

The balance team previously had a substantial difference of opinion. Since Red has left, the remaining members are almost always on the same page and balance is dramatically better as a result. You'll see when we release the next patch eventually.
