Do you know about the vehicles/tanks they used? Only American ones or also British?

No, just light american vehicles. As the Italy terrain was dificult to heavy and medium tanks, brasilians did use only greyhounds, jeeps, trucks and few M3 Stuars to make some recognition of terrain...

I'll try to find some pictures of the vehicles:

this is a model:

Some of the Stuarts I was talking about:

this site have some photos of brazilian troops in Italy... newbielink:http://www.ww2incolor.com/brazil/ [nonactive] =D

Well... as we were a little poor country we didn't have any factory to built weapons and larger equipment of war. Our uniform was very similar to the "grey-olive" of the germans... In fact, when brazilians arrive in Naples, at July 1944, the population confused htye with german prisioners... later the civilians saw the green insignia write "Brasil" in white and de negros in our troops...

Our Uniform os a mix between several equipment from 20's and 30's and didn't support the italian wheater very well...

that's is why we take the american uniform, mostly the jackets and trench coats.

Later I'll try to find some pictures of the brazilian army before the war

Well I didn't find the picture but I read that many brazilians keep the legs of the original uniform under the american legs...

But not any more.  ;D
THe pictures of the troops disembarking at Naples show distinctive variations in uniforms. I particularly enjoyed the chap with a duffel on his head. No reason why these couldn't be used in a CoH mod. The NI have their berets. Betcha they didn't wear them in combat. And as you-all constantly remind me its not history or simulation, its a game!

An Italian Front Mod would be perfect for incorporating all sorts of national troops and equipment. Many different nations were represented there. Perhaps a T5_HQ could be developed to represent the multi-national units. (Did somebody say Ostheer)?

I'd like to see a US reskin of the Brazillians, maybe also give them Portugese to speak like what they did with the Russians in EF.

That was my first idea hahahha =D...

if the guys in Eastern front want some translaters I can make a "brazilian/portuguese" translation and help this very good mod grow more and conquest more brazilian fans ;D ;D ;D

About the troops in Naples... there are some differences between the men... the first picture you can see the privates, corporals and seargents (with a "bag" above the heads) and the secound you can see the officers with service uniform.

in this video about the Brazil at War you can see some original uniform of my country =D

Unless CoH have Portuguese as language, we can't accept such proposal. We are not going to release a translation on X language and then let CoH run with Y language.
