I wish I had a replay to show you but Im a fan of Sim city strategy and considering Cottbus has two narrow lanes to go through (using Defensive Doc), if im thinking of the right map, this might be the way to go while your friend mounts an offensive. Some people might call me a noob for using sim city but I enjoy it so who cares. I dont know what the different bonuses are for each faction, sorry.

Cottbus is about my favorite map. Try this approach:
Wherm: Combat support strat with MGs coupled with T1/T3 Blitz Strat for early Stugs/Pumas. Support your buddy's SCs with MGS and pioniere repairs.
PE: T1/T2 or T1/T3 Strats; Initial build Ket/PG/SC/SC/increased squad size. Initially use your two kets to capture the 5 points in the middle section of the map. Use PG to support SCs. Micro SCs hard to drive back Sovs and cap. If NI spam occurs go T2 for MHTs.
Doctrinal Suggestion:
  • AT doctrine: Go with 2HT/Shrek raids on Sov bases.
  • LW doctrine: Deep decapping operations with Funkwagon use in mind.
  • SE doctrine: LHS, Decap and boobytrap VPs.

Cottbus is the type of map style I lump together with bridge maps (which I loathe with a passion) however, I decided to send you a clunky replay. It is not my best and it is certainly not what Id recommend you do in pvp nevertheless it is an EXAMPLE.

Note that if it were high resource I would have finished it faster OK?

Don´t play against comp play against player. If you train your 1vs1 skills comp should be much easier for you

It's not "strategy" to block off 2 extremely narrow chokepoints against an incredibly stupid enemy. Crap map, crap gametype.

Are you referring to me? What's wrong with annihilate, I would have done exactly the same thing VPs or no VPs. And in case you didn't realise...

Cottbus is the type of map style I lump together with bridge maps (which I loathe with a passion).

EFkv10, why are u thanking DrRockzo1986 when it was ME that sent you that replay :)
