well you can drive it to the front and then retreat all infantry to it....i have done it a few times. it can help to get past fortified enemy lines. like british captain

The only thing Captains are good for is teching to tanks. THAT'S IT! Admittedly, Victor Target can come in handy, but it will most likely get the Cappy killed. And his defensive bonuses are so useless... ::)

What if you buy another 1? Do they go to the closest?

It doesn't matter if ZiS-5 is destroyed or just change it's position, the infantry will run where the truck used to be located and that cannot be changed :P.

Oh, you mean when the guys are already retreating? I thought Killar meant the retreat point is the wreck.

The retreating troops cannot be ordered to retreat to the new build zis. They will bravely run to the wrecked zis.

Whether they can stop or change the retreat i don't know, but i have noticed them starting upgrades on retreating squads, so they have some control over them. ;)

You cannot control those entities in the process so, they start the upgrades before the retreat is activated. The upgrades will be researched while the squad is retreating.

Besides, you can't know if they start upgrades while retreating because you cannot select them either ;D.

I've seen enemy units retreating in recorded games from their perspective, and they sometimes get back to base with an upgrade part-way done. Remember that the A.I. doesn't have to select its units to give them orders. ;)

Alright, so is it possible to make some sort of co-op campaign?
