We should worry first for the stuff that comes before the tourney first. We(Devs) can take care of the post on GR, don't worry about it, but we need to settle everything else before thinking in announcements .

Im afraid its already too late to start the tourney at this friday

For most plp the holidays did end already, there are only 4 days left and the patch isnt out yet, at the same weekend there is a gr tournament that will attract more plp than EF can do.
I recommend to move the date at least one week ahead

yeah maybe this is the better way
i think we should also gain all players the chance to test new strats with our patch changes. maybe only 1-2 days arent enought

Yes we'll have to postpone til next weekend. Starting date is now Friday 2 September. The tourney will run throughout the weekend and will not have fixed times to play. Instead, you will have to arrange to play your games within the time allocated for each round. Everyone who has signed up so far, please confirm that you can make this new date.

Signups for new players will close on the Wednesday beforehand.
