I'm have financial problems with my panther, I make little to no money, and repairs cost so f'ing much. I got a VKDB sitting around to make money, but it's just not enough. I'm considering downgrading to a cheaper to run Panzer IV with L/70 7.5 cm gun, but I'm just not sure.

Need some advice from all you World of Tanks players, (anyone else besides Moonwalker?) Thanks!

P.S. I have 10 days of Premium left so take that into account.

Might get back into WoT again. I quit because of Uni work, think I managed to get myself to an SU-85 but the grinding was really cutting into my work time. I might restart for heavy tanks and try to work up to an IS-2... I remember having fun times with the T-28 during the Beta, then being really disappointed with the gay slow uselessness of the KV-1.

5 hours of playing and I can't be assed with WoT anymore. The game has somehow lost its appeal... probably all the grinding and money grubbing with the looming threat of a hard wipe somewhere in the distance.

Getting a premium account will allow you to more easily afford those top tier tanks. If not then play a tank with high credit returns like a Panzer IV or a Churchill.

KV's are good when you give them the really long gun (I cant remember what one it is but its like a tier VII gun or something). Also any rumors of another hard wipe are false. Since the game is released there is no point in wiping people's accounts, wargaming.net would just lose players. Imagine if they wiped peoples accounts on WoW. No one would play it. And money grubbing? seriously? people should be supporting this game.

I also was disapointed by KV-1 (to me best looking Soviet tank ever). I got T-28 with F-30 85mm gun and wanted to use it in KV... but I have to buy a whole new tank. >:( I hope that KV-Is will be faster. But Kursk anniversary (x2 earned silver and less than 50% cost for tanks that fought there) was a great suprise. 8)

I also got a few tanks during the anniversary, made good use of it. Well, at least the devs provide nice little bonuses every once in a while.

Since the game is released there is no point in wiping people's accounts, wargaming.net would just lose players. Imagine if they wiped peoples accounts on WoW. No one would play it.

WoW is a little different since PvP is a small part. WoT is PvP only and I can't see the game continuing for a few years without a soft wipe (I meant soft wipe). As people leave as many have done already, the ratio of Medium-Heavy Tanks to Light tanks will become very unbalanced making it exceedingly difficult for newer players to get their foot in door without having to wait 4-5 minutes to join a game.

And money grubbing? seriously? people should be supporting this game.

I'm not going to tell people what they can or cannot do with their own money, but I tend to like to buy something and then have it. If I had bought WoT in a shop for £30 (which I probably would have) and had access to everything forever, I'd be happy with that... but that's not how WoT operates and that's not how I operate.

I have to agree with Burro. I dislike microtransactions. I want the full game for an upfront cost. Hidden future costs aren't really my thing.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

That would be like if you bought TOV, and then you were told you have to purchase the reward units.  ::)

Have to buy? No you dont have to buy anything.
One thing that bothers me is that I cant get any British made tanks for free and there is no Cromwell ingame (top speed 64km/h). :(

I dont think there is a British faction mate :P. Thats probably why theres a slight lack of Brit tanks. IDK about everyone else but I recent tried this game out and I was getting destroyed every single f@#king match. Can someone help me? Every time I try to engage the enemy I get blown up by Panzer II's or those freaking Russian tanks (BT I think)
