What is it with these bands always ruining fantastic songs with shitty endings? Seriously... ::)

Edit: What's with the disabled embedding? ???

What's wrong with the Price of a Mile ending? The fade out makes it 10 times better than if it had just ended suddenly, imo.

Sabaton - The Price Of A Mile [MV]

Anyway, this video's better because it's muddier, if a little stretched :P

Having the song continue like normal, and just fade out, is perhaps the laziest way to end a song. ::) Admittedly, it's not so bad when it ends with just a techno sound, but it's certainly the worst with lyrics. How the fuck are they supposed to replicate that at a concert?! ???

There are so many great bands that ruin their songs with such endings. :'(

Not 1 of their best, but still cool.

Also, anybody know what the ending music is on Screaming Eagles (first post)? I'm dying to know!

Fade the volume. Add a little reverb and drop the lights.

Shave and a haircut two bits is a standard way to end a song, instrumentally. I guess your not a musician. Ask one of your musically inclined friends to demonstrate.

No, i haven't the slightest clue how to make music; I just know what sounds good. ;)

Check this out:
Sabaton - The Art Of War [nofollow]
The quality is no doubt lower than that of the C.D., but it's just so different... It's more 'to the point', and 'no frills' as they say, than on the album. It's actually really good, despite being of a lower quality...

For reference, here's the 'proper' song, like what you will find on the album:

Now THIS is how you end a song!
