That's it we're moving this to after the next patch. First of all this patch has some obvious balance problems and second some people are having trouble finding a correct time. Let's just slow down, and plan this out very organized and well.

If we have a set weekend and have teams agree on times during the weekend then I think we'll be better off. Right now it's hectic.

I could post in the Blistered Thumbs forum if you would like, but i don't think there are many Eastern Front players there. :(

Good! Glad we're all on the same page :)

Lets just wait and see as to when the next patch will emerge, then we can begin the tournament.

In the meantime, it would be good if we could start a master list of all the contestants and their current opponents. Let's try to get this more public, like Gamereplays and like Pariah said Blistered Thumbs.

Meanwhile, we can start a master list here. I'll start some 2D art concerning this.

BASIC RULES:

  • Each team will play the best of 3 rounds. After round 1, the teams will switch sides. For example, if Team 1 is Allies in Round 1, then they will be Axis in Round 2.
  • In the event of a tie, the team with the best VP score will choose their factions. For example, if Team 1 wins game 1 with 100 VPs spare, but Team 2 wins game 2 with 350 VPs to spare, Team 2 will pick their faction for round 3.
  • All factions are allowed, except for Vanilla Brits. If you wish to play Brits, you must play RMC.
  • Reward Units are allowed.
  • This Tournament will be in a knockout style with a loser's bracket to allow even those whom lose in round 1 the chance to play more.

Maps Permitted:
  • Rails and Metal
  • Wolfheze
  • Sevastpool
  • Kursk
  • Grodno
  • Duclair
  • Lorraine
  • St. Hilare
(Insert community decided maps here)

Current Team Matchup:

Match 1:

SublimeGlimz and donthateme
vs.
Sovereign and Seeme

Match 2:

AllActionNoPlot and GodlikeDennis
vs.
MaxiKing6 and Cranialwizard

Match 3:

ApeMen and TheDzierzanPL
vs.
flgator and vonklaus

Match 4:

dArCReAvEr and RedGuard
vs.
cephalos and Gogo

(Did I forget someone? D:)

If anyone has any changes in teams or any teams to add, please post below. I'll add more teams and such to this and get a bracket drawn out as soon as the patch is complete.

Why no St. Hilaire? :'(

Be sure to let me know when you are ready for me to advertise on Blistered Thumbs. Also, Facebook is a mildly popular site, so you might want to advertise there as well. ;)

I've recreated the tourney page in another thread guys. Please re-signup and read the rules very carefully. I've changed it so we play a round over an entire day or two and teams find a time to suit them at some point in that time. In this way, the tourney will take a lot longer, several days, but will be easier for everyone to organise themselves.

Please close this thread.

If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.
