Well I was wondering is it possible in anyway to add sound files for new units into the game. I was just thinking that perhaps, it could be very beneficial to all the mods to create new voices for units, so we wouldn't have to rely on the older stuff, and can create cooler and more realsitic voices for the new factions (the Russians talk like an American would, not really how a Russian would talk)

We are working on authentic voices, but it will take time. We need members of the community with appropriate accents and acting skill, and of course a decent mic, before we can record voices.

Hmm well i don't know if the devs want natives to get the accents perfect or not. I'm not so sure it would be good enough to just do impressions.

also every line needs to be in three different radio statics.
No radio static = you are near the unit
light radtio static = unit not on screen
heavy radio static = unit is far away

And don't forget about the tank crew radio static.

MHmm, well my new software should be able to help with that, I can add and delete static at my personal whim, so sounds good.

And remember that the distant-unit static is gradual. It doesn't have phases, but rather gradually gets less and less clear as the screen moves further away. Think you could implement that? Or maybe it's already in a file in the game? :-\

I wouldn't be able to tell you that, thats a question to the Devs, but i think its in the game files, because they were able to add a new movement sound to all the Soviet tanks, and they have made the distancing effect very clearly felt.
