New Skins for German Troops: PE and Wehr

I understand that the EF developers have a huge work load on their plates with working on the new patch and the longed for Ostheer but I defiantly think reskinning the stock German infantry is in line. A modder and skinner named Halftrack makes an awesome skin pack that features completely redone uniforms for the Wehrmacht and American factions while the Panzer Elite will take a little more searching on my part to find a suitable one for the Eastern Front. I see nothing inherently wrong with the relic skins.

I think other stuff has priority. Completing and improving of Soviets, creating OH, setting up a campaign. If you want different skins, just install a skinpack, three are available here. Don't worry, they are compatible with EF.

Yeah, Halftrack is an excellent skinner and part of this team . He made along with Zerstörer and BurroDiablo the skins for weapons and infantry for Eastern Front. But...

Wouldn't be too much to replace all the original skins for those? I think their current skins, if not "historically correct" are fine.

You can install them if you want, just make sure they don't modify the attrib files and everything will be fine.

P.S.: Now i remember, we have replaced RMC Doctrinal Commandos skin just to make them visually different than their brits counterpart.

Sadly, the relic skins are my biggest pet peeve with the original game and I think the Eastern Front deserves some skins that more reflect what German troops were wearing on that front. The allies actually look alright but the axis was poorly done.

I personally already installed this skin pack and as Halftrack stated in his article he is making skins for the PE and the Brits. It is news to me that Halftrack is part of the team.

Halftrack was involved only with the soviets, not that we wouldn't be happy if he comes and help us with Ostheer, but i think he's busy with his own mod . So, this won't happen.

I have that mod and it has been a ghost town for a long time. Maybe he is working on a new patch? But I am getting off topic. I totally understand how much is on your plate but would still like some eastern front style uniforms for the axis. Maybe I could work on this myself.
