I always suspected that Sandbags are more penetrable than walls, but i was never sure...

If you are referring to the fact that bullets pass through bags of sand much better than stone, then yes, it's obvious. But this is a game, and i thought they were supposed to provide the same amount of cover. ???

While walls provide more of a "Super Heavy" Cover compared to sandbags, it was surprising how long it took to suppress even the sandbag infantry. Building sandbags is better than nothing though. If you don't have a wall sandbags will do.

As compared to slit trenches which must be "Mega Heavy" cover! :)

While they (Trenches) can't support weapons teams like MGs or Mortars, they are omni-directional, giving them their "Mega Cover" I suppose.

I thought the same.... well, it's kinda balanced, because you can't build a wall, but you can build sandbags anywhere.

Yes, you defiantly can.

Nades', Shrecks, Zookas', Mortars, Arty, and Tanks can destroy sandbags. Anything I miss?

Sandbags have a large amount of health, which leads you to believe they're like an indestructible heavy cover provider. All it takes is a little focus fire.

The heavier light vehicles, such as Pumas, Greyhounds and Halftracks can destroy Sandbags by running them over. And each piece counts as a building kill, too.

I can't help but wonder, though - How do walls and buildable Sandbags compare to map sandbags?

I think they both give the same amount of cover, but map bags can't be targeted, so only weapons with attack ground or concentrated fire or crush can destroy them.

Well, it takes a full 4 hit shoots, which means it also misses a lot, so I consider it a No.

It seems to reduce the received damage  from direct fire weapons to the walls; ie bunkers and outposts. Perhaps by absorption?
