Uber German Armored Car???

While playing COH on Seine River Docks, my troops were constantly being mowed down by a single German Armored car that can fire a one shot one kill through heavy cover, making it impossible to kill without having tanks. It is way to strong. My paratroopers used to be able to paratroop an AT gun in its range and get a few shots on the car, but now they are dead before they hit the ground. is anyone else having this issue?

Is that the Panzer Elite or Wehrmacht Armored Car you're talking about?

Well, if you paradrop an AT squad near a Wehr/PE armoured car and your opponent realize it, don't expect they will survive. They're "weak" while descending, if a paratrooper squad of six members has heavy casualities doing this imagine an AT squad that only have three crew members.

Also, an armoured car is good killing infantry, why you should fight against it using infantry ?

Yeah, it's never a good idea to paradrop in the middle of enemies with high anti-infantry efficiency, but i think the problem is more 1-shot-killing through heavy cover.

Murk, what infantry unit were they behind the cover? And what patch do you have?

Well both Axis Armored Cars tend to kill about half a Rifleman squad with 1 volley of the main gun, making placing even 1 Sticky Bomb very costly, and only feasible when the Car is stupid enough to get close. They are, in fact, the main reason i think the Axis armies are overpowered. If relic nerfs them, i would be so happy!

burst bug only comes into effect in very particular situations, roughly translated 13% of the time.

i agree with pariah if you dont decisevly squash armored car bullying early, you will get abused. its very OP

Armored cars weren't that strong. It was a Wehrmacht Armored car. My soldiers were behind an overturned train. It seemed that he car could not miss a shot. It, in real life, was slightly inaccurate, and the weapon would take three volleys to actually take some troops out, when in cover, and was inacurrate when taking paratroopers out from the air. Even real AA guns aren't as accurate as the Armored car in the game.

Balance arguments based on realism aren't going to get much respect.

Axis Armoured Cars in EF haven't been buffed meaning that they still behave like in CoH, comparing real life counterparts is not useful either.

We won't nerf vanilla units unless the "experts" think is worthy(and devs/balance guys agree with that).

Its not strong, its specific counter is infantry and when upgunned light vehicle. However there are still ways around it. Since it is slaughtering the infantry, it must not be upgunned. Have you tried using T17 against it? The wehr Armored car is pretty average against other armored cars...

If it was vet 3 it gets +50% damage. It pretty much vaporises infantry. When upgunned it does the same damage as a P4.

When it comes to that stage, the US would have been doomed already. What the .... were you doing to allow a player/computer to get a vet 3 armoured car and not have any anti-vehicle counters?

Personally I have never ever had any issue with an armoured car even if it vaporises infantry! Use a T17 (since its OK vs light armour) or an AT gun (because of its range), there are so many weaknesses it has that there must be something you can do or have overlooked...
