come on it is a nice map, maybe one of the most beautiful maps.
i can not wait for the next patch to comes out so I can play this incredible map.
unfortunately I can not figure out how to download and install maps :-\, but I can wait.
Does anyone have an idea when the next patch comes, it must be soon but how soon months, weeks, days, does anyone know or have any idea?

Its actually easy, When you have finished the download, put the SGA map file in this location Home>Documents>mygames>companyofheroes>ww2>Scenarios>MP and it should show up in any company of heroes game including mods  ;)

Home>Documents>mygames>companyofheroes>ww2>Scenarios>MP

Completely wrong, sorry  :-X This is the correct path:

Code: [Select]
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\WW2\ScenariosYou can copy-paste the path and it will lead you to the correct folder in Windows Explorer.

I came looking for a new map and download it...
But when I opened the CoH and looked at the file, although the name is "Berlin 1945",but the map itself is same to the Berlin map that comes default with the patch EF.Is it just me or what?

The file size is 11.0+ MB IIRC.I downloaded the map from the first page.Is it just me or what ???.

Thanks for the nice map,on a side note.

Sorry about the confusion on the name, its the one that will replace the current Berlin map that comes with the mod with the new patch.
Ostheer is a new German faction for this mod.
It will be done when it is done.
Keep mapping and modeling.

That's because EF Berlin and this version share file names, a "feature" I implemented due to the fact that this version will replace the old Berlin. So instead of this custom map, the EF map is loaded.

Thank you.I finally get what happened.

But is it possible to play the custom version now instead of playing the old Berlin map?
I know this Berlin 1945 is supposed to replace Berlin, but I don't see anything on the map identical to the picture on the first page.I do played this map before you updated the first page.I used the 0.47 by that time.

Is it possible to make a bigger reichstag, make a free big place in front of it and remove the brandenburggate?

As the map is based on real Berlin brandenburggate and reichstag were not next to each other.
Actually this map resembles how Berlin really looks like - take these pictures as comparison:

why is it that people dont want to play this map? bad pathfinding?  it it too small for a 4v4?

map is fine. Problem is in the textures - my PC can easilly run 4v4 game on many maps, but on Berlin it's performance drops severly and CTDs are common.

What is it? Just wondering because I am kind of in charge of the production of the EF version of this map.
