So what do you think about the Prince and the Bride?

Now you're on the "no flight" list...
I'm not sure, it's a joke, though it should be in a perfect world.  :-\

I don't need to fly... London is only... uh... 6-7 hours drive ;D

Too much Uni work to do though, so I'll just watch their special day get ruined on the 10 O'clock news or something.

Well, those "elite" bastards should get to pay their bills after all. I wish they all could be properly judged and hung/sentenced. But that's the most unlikely to ever happen, since they run this shitty world.

Yeah in a perfect world joe..

theres not enough radicals left in the world for an effective workers revolution, thats my conclusion anyway.

as a registered member of the communist party here in the US i can tell you everyone wants to talk politics no one wants to actually do anything about it! grrr i hate capitalism

one step in the right direction, however imperfect, is obama and his socialist tendencies  ;D

No offense, REDCommissar, but he's just another puppet IMO. Watch "The Obama's deception", or "The fall of the republic" for that matter. The author seems to be just another "strange dude" to me (e.g. he sells stuff,- wtf?), but there are some good points in these two films though.

Oh no I am under no illusions of the truth I can guarantee you that, and no of course I have not taken offense. I welcome political discussion.  :)

especially from a well educated collegue i consider yourself

we won't be satisfied until both the democrats and the republicans fall from grace. with Obama however we have seen faint views of socialism instituted and it has the evil republicans in an absolute uproar.

After his election(obama) he lobbied/supported for the election of quite a few openly socialist candidates in various positions of US government.
Is he the answer we're looking for? absolutely not but its a historical step that has never been taken before in US government.

also in a recent poll here 1 in 10 americans believe that Communism is a welcomed changed to the current reigning government
which in of itself is a HUGE progression

I myself am the 2ndgeneration of italian immigrants who fled mussolinis fascist regime during WWII, and have always wondered since the fall of the Soviet Union how does communism fare in Russia now? The communist party here almost dissolved after we stopped receiving funds from the Soviet Union.

I should really advise, you watch at least one of those films, I've listed. These are available on the internet for free.
Communism, IMO, is highly unlikely to actually work, since mankind is too imperfect for such perfectionist idea. Thus it is doomed to quickly fall into tyranny and/or corruption. I myself prefer Bakunin's concept of anarchy, but I see its irrelevance to the real life as well. So, all we have left to us is really a true socialism with free market economy for those who actually produce (i.e. if you produce product, you can sell it, but no one is allowed to sell anything, unless he produced it himself, or in fair cooperation with others, in which case they all share the rights of property on the product they've produced) and truly representative government system, which is more than possible, taking the modern state of technological development.
That all is just my personal view, of course.
