SAS Raiders

SAS Raiders need some kind of demolition and/or some frag grenades. The PIAT is useless for the whole raid idea, also they were struggling to take on Volksgrenadiers... Any chance of adding some stuff to make them a little more... useful?

SAS useless? PIAT useless?  ??? ??? ???
Two squads of SAS Raiders make a slaughter of Volksgrenadier (not vetted or Vet.1).
For demolition and granades, you have already the normal Commandos from the Commander Tree.

Basically you're saying if I want decent infantry, I have to specialise commando on commando replacement units? I don't see how the PIAT is useful for raiding bases. It'd make more sense to have demolition.

I was on expert with 1v1 they didn't stand a chance against them, all that was left was the guy with the PIAT just aiming at them before I pulled him out.

1) You'll notice that the raider's building has bren carriers. That's for a good reason, cause you're supposed to mount them on it and raid.
2)They're not meant as replacement unit for commandos which is why they do not have the same abilities as commandos. The piat is to provide limited AT backup AND damage buildings
3)They're not replacement unit for tommies, just an addition of a close quarters non doctrinal smg unit. If you want more than that, choose commandos tree

If you want demolition ability, you can use Demo Sappers or doctrinal Commandos.

You wouldn't even consider frags? I know they aren't a replacement to the Glider Commandos from the spec tree.

Get youreself a riflenade squad.
Becouse of increased RMTommies mobility riflenade upgrade is usually better than a BREN upgrade.
