If you want your own skinpack skin just go to

C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\Eastern_Front\Data\art\models\races\axis\vehicles\tiger\tiger\model

and either remove the skin files present or replace them with the ones from your preferred artist

The current skin is very accurate and commonly used in eastern front

@Main post, the funny thing in that picture is that the Left Tiger has Vet, but the Right Tiger is the only one with Kill marks on the barrel :D

I think it's all right.

To me, whatever is most accurate is fine with me.

I've already tried that a long time ago.  If I change anything, even that 1 tiger art file I can't play EF on multi-player.  :(  I think it has to do with the EF files being in folder format instead of SGA format.

If the files aren't packed on SGA they'll overwrite the files of their respective path/name. If you delete them you should be able to use default ones.

Make sure you delete them. Sometimes on Vista and 7 you delete them(shift+del) and after refreshing the directory(pressing F5) they're still there.

Thx for trying to help, but as I said I've already tried to delete / replace that brown tiger skin file.  Everytime I do that my EF online compat breaks, and when I try to play a game with others it says we don't have the same data files.

I've already PMed the devs on skin issues before, but no dice.  I'm hoping someone could take the time to help out with the skin issues I'm having again.  It'd be much appreciated.

PS: Again, I think if the EF attrib and art files were packed into SGA format, skinpacks might work.

Of course taste is subjective, that's why the skin should be able to be overridden. I hope you guys help out chancellor here.

Just did this yesterday's midnight or should say some minutes ago ;). Place it on your "company of heroes\Eastern_Front\Data" folder.

I tested with one custom skin of Xalibur's Tiger. Seems to work correctly on skirmish mode(I mean didn't mess with the normal and soviets textures). Tested with GodlikeDennis, he joined to my test match with EF normal skins and online compatibility error wasn't shown up.

I couldn't test it in PvP game because he had to go. I post this if you want to try it Chancellor and I don't think I could try it soon because of my work, with soon i mean from now to 15 hrs. later~ 11:12 pm now, i'm go to work from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Good night ;D!

As far as I know, art files never cause compatibility issues, only attribute changes. Iremember trying this with Rizz and didn't have an issue

Ugly Tiger problem solved.  I deleted the Tiger art file and put the resource file in the EF Data folder.  When I attempted to join someone's online skirmish game, it worked.  Thank you, Blackbishop.

My skinpack still doesn't work when playing EF, but I guess thats OK, because I can still look at my replays with them without being bothered by the ugly brown tiger now.

However, if someone would be so kind as to take a look at my problem, I would be very appreciative.  The AttribArchive.sga that I use for my skinpack only changes things like adding a Tiger / Pershing commander or changing the PE tank crew models, etc, and does not effect actual unit battle stats.  It works 100% with regular CoH online, so I'm not sure about the problem.
