Indeed. Just make sure your bridges are destroyed and the game will be over in less time than you might imagine.

So your only defense will be your units and few sandbags? That is even harder, but if i think now, barbed wire and tanktraps would have made it much too easy.
This mode is only vor Wehrmacht and Red Army, right?

Is possible play:

PE vs Soviets
Ostheer vs Soviets

USA vs Wehr
GB vs Wehr

etc...? :)
