I mean it's really good map, but there is plenty of them. And why only 1v1? Couldn't it be possible on 2v2 maps? like Pointe du Hoc?

I think this mode deserved its own map, An trenched area, hilltop, reinforced village ETC for it to really come out as an gamemode. Im sure theres lots of ppl who would find it funny to play alongside with freinds also.

For me an normal 1v1 map dosent give the same "defendstyle" feel that a custom map design for this purpose would give.

anyway just my few cents. KEEP UP the good work.

A quick question:
Will the AI have unlimited pop, significantly more, slightly more, or the same? My computer can barely run 2v2 offline. I'm hoping it wont crash my computer.

In the current build, you are forced to 60 pop, the AI is around 90 pop.

Well, perhaps on other update this will be possible... but think of this as a new beta mode...

Maybe you could host a mapping contest (somewhere in the future) for a map designed for this game mode? Im sure theres alot of talented mappers around this forum who would contribute with something, I would love making a map for you myself (when i have time), so this gamemode will be a 100% EF feeling.

In this special case, quality means quantity, the quality of the mod makes a quantity of hungry RTS-gamers the mouths water.  ;D
I think a good choice for a future 2v2 Red Tide/Blitzkrieg Challenge may be this map: http://easternfront.org/forums/index.php?topic=4324.0
It has a "we fight to survive" atmosphere and is suitable because of its longish form. The ruin of the castle or whatever it is ought to present is also a nice location for it.

but what i would really love is a hilltop fortified position like
the british campaign where you defend a hill
