so i just got EF and so i started the game played a couple skirmishes to get the feel for the russian faction and i loved it but it was really sad for me to see that there was not a single game being hosted........any feedback would be good.

When do you normally go online? It does rather depend on you timezone, I am on GMT+2 and at around 8-9pm I see at least 4 games being hosted.

It's also unfortunate that 80% of the few games that are hosted are comp stomps. leaving a very small margin for people who want to play against other people.

True, but every time I go online I host a normal game 500 VP standard resources for at least ten min, Every little bit helps right?
People normally join quickly enough.

I don't think there's going to be another big soviet patch. The next one is going to have to be the Osteer.

Patches are only big when we add art files. We still have some new soviet stuff that will get finished and added before Ostheer, so you'll get some large patches in the mean time.
Ostheer is still a considerable way away from anything resembling a release version.
Bearing in mind I'm not personally involved in Ostheer, I would guestimate 10-12 months minimum till patch 2.0 that adds them.
But there will be plenty of inbetween stuff we'll be adding

I wouldn't have thought so, but If we had more active skinners on the team (nudge nudge), we'd be making quicker progress.
