A churchill rush with infantry support can win you the game when played right. However, the churchills are dead weight past their initial impact. The AVRE is the most useful at all points in the game because it's the only one that actually kills shit. It's effective against AT guns and bunkers as well, which counters many Germans' endgame. RE also gives you a tonne of munis with nothing to spend them on. It also buffs emplacements which are pretty useless against anyone with a brain.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

The only time I ever made RE work is in team games against at least one PE. You got to forget about the capt and armor truck. Tommys and sappers. build alot of emplacements for CP and mass mines. Problem with mass mines is that Sappers are usually to busy doing other stuff. You got to get CP fast for churchhill and AVR. Against double Wehr paks and gren spam will shred your churchills. I never had the guts to try it in 1v1 against Wehr. Hell, maybe ill try it, I don't care if I win or loose........ That's a lie, lol.

17 pounders are quite usefull as a second line of defence. When PE calls in a Panther Battlegroup and you still have only 1 Firefly. Extra HP to youre Casualty Clearing Station wont hurt eighter.

Churchills tank shock and mine plow are usefull in late game.
But noone should think that its an alternative to Cromwells in late game. It can scare off any tank that has a barrel shorter than 3m and clear mines and hedgerows while doing it. To me its a much better call in than a 4CP Hetzer or a 5CP StuH.
Ive posted this video once before but I love chewing german meat with its steel jaws. After Tank Shock the germans are so easy to kill. ;D

That sounds a bit sarcastic. what kind of "fan boy" are you? That's all you have to contribute here; "a treasure for British fan boys"? Whats the point of that statement? I was just trying to pass along my experience in the game since I played it from the start in 2006. I'm no lv20 player, never will be, just cant think fast enough and I'm slow on the keyboard. If I'm a "fan boy" its USA and We hr. Rifle spam gets boring and so does Wehr. I like Brits and Soviets too. But hey, if coming in here and calling people "fan boys" floats your boat, go ahead.

Don't take it personally, I'm sure that was aimed at Paciat, AdmV0rl0n and Abhmkh. Only Paciat remains, which is fine by me as he's the only one I respect.

Back when commandos + fireflies or emplacement spam was all the rage, I actually just used the churchill + infantry to win. Tank shock is downright OP when combined with an infantry assault and mine plow crush like Paciat demonstrated. I believe it was nerfed somewhere along the line though, as was the churchill main gun. In lategame, the prelavence of Wehr AT weapons makes it too risky to plow so you are stuck with the shitty main gun. This is what makes them crap at scaling.

I'll agree with Paciat that it is better than a hetzer, but it's not better than a StuH. Plus the StuH is on the way to a REAL endgame tank.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

Don't worry, that lack of any respect cuts both ways.

And while I don't post often, you can be assured that your continuing abusive comment has no effect on me, although its unfortunate others are forced to leave. Maybe you'd actually stick to some points and make some viable ones at it without name dropping, abuse aimed at others, and your general piss poor behaviour.

It would be nice to think that people can enjoy differing views and ideas on the game without resorting to abusive lines, and I am sure that ultimatly people are here because they like to lay the game, and like to play with and against others. At the end of the day, hacking someone off so they leave - is just one person less for everyone to play with/against.

Please stop the 'keyboard drama' everyone and stick to the topic.
Discuss the arguments not the individuals who post them.
If at the end of the day you don't agree with someone, agree to disagree and move on to discuss points other people make. Stop taking this so personal...its just a game

If you don't have something remotely useful to contribute in a thread, resist posting spam.

Cheers
