1 Doctrine automatickly unlocked Hungarians+Italins
2 Doctrine automatickly unlocked Rumanians+Slovakian
3 Doctrine automatickly unlocked Finnish + Croatians

Only one typical unit allowed in this concept per nation and dont use "SS" in decription(some nation not tolerated).

The main problem is;
when we call one unit e.g. hungarian soldiers or italian soldiers a lot of other guys would start to cry.

Those guys can go shove a flag up their exhaust ports. The devs have no duty to the mod´s players. AT ALL. So they do not have to justify their decisions to them.

Finnish commandos would be great. Give 'em Soumi SMGs, Panzerfausts, camo ability and integrate a marksman in the squad.  ;D
Not to mention a crowbar that can be used to immobilize Russian tanks! Finnish bear strenght! (I'm not finn, btw, but we scandinavians have to hear alot about how insanely badass our eastern neighbours are - after all they are our wall towards Russia)

j/k

Possibly OP, lol... But something would be needed to distinguish them from Wehr Stormtroopers. Smaller squad (three men) with camo and SMGs but also a marksman ability similar to that of the British recon section?

Would sure add some flavour to the Ostheer in a way that a generic German "stormtrooper" squad would not be ble to do.

Yea, Alot of people underestimate the Finns. They were one of the strongest troops in ww2 if you ask me, most people think its on of those stuiped useless foreign countys that just keep losing. They were acutally Winning.
The Russians think there sooo tough, wait till the Ostheer comes...

I like the "Foreign Battlegroup" idea that has been suggested somwhere here on the forums ...

A doctrine ability abit simmilar to the "US defensive BG" But it gives you a bunch of foreign troops instead.

The ability would randomly give you one of the foreign battlegroups.

It could be made even more interesting if each battlegroup was dedicated to something, fx anti tank or anti infantry, support, defensive and so on...

Italian bg
Hungarian bg
Romanian bg
finish bg

No, Its the other way around.
Alot of people overestimate the Finns.
They were the first nation to fight with the Soviet Union after the purges. In 1939 the Soviet army was in a worst condition than in 1941.
1944 war was complitly different. Similar to fights in Romania.

... Finns were acutally losing. Losing their second largest City - Viipuri. Losing their mines near Petsamo.
Just like Romania was loosing Moldavia, Hungary Transilvania, etc.

@Paciat and Seeme: you really want to get this topic closed, do you?

Ontopic: I'm pro neutral "allied" regiments, w/o any specific nationalities. Something like "Ostbatallion" from N44 - an expendable units with a German officer in the lead, to overwatch these "less-talented allies" (you remember about nazi's doctrine of racial superiority, right?)

It would be nice to have foreign support but I don't think devs have time for that... unless they've planned someting like ReckLESS said.

Beware with the off-topic... is treacherous :-\...

I reiterate. WAFFEN-GRENADIERS for standard Ostheer infantry. Why? 1) The name's obviously Waffen-SS, though inoffensive-sounding, and hints at foreign units (most likely with German NCOs, so some of the voice-overs could be recycled) ...they could have been from any Axis allied or co-belligerent country, including some of the Non-Axis countries who fielded small numbers of volunteers. 2) Historically accurate---look it up. 3) Goes with the Relic theme too (e.g. Grenadiers, Panzergrenadiers, Volksgrenadiers, Waffen-Grenadiers). Everyone's happy. End of story.  ;D

I agree with the foreign battlegroup idea, maybe include random troops from Italy, Spain, Finland, Georgia, Estonia, Russian liberation army, Hungary, Romania, Charlemagne, Wallonie, Nord etc. divisions, labeled just as "foreign support". That would be so cool and keep everyone happy, I mean there are even some skins for these troops already made...  ;D

You do realize, that doing so will require adding ~10 new identical units just for one call-in? And there's another way "to make everyone happy" - make noone happy :D
