I, as a top manager, take a huge credit from the state and hire pros to build a bridge, than crisis comes in, my company goes bankrupt, however I receive a "golden parachute" (loads o' moneys  ;D) and don't really care about your bridge.

As the stock market goes down in the depression I invest and buy the other 60%. Convincing them to sell it to me beings as I already own over 50%. I then send in hippies to protest all the communists and set up a love camp on the bridge for peace. My 70'S rad bridge man 8)
