Idea for conscripts in 1.10

I like the changes 1.10 brought us. Everything is a good improvement. I would suggest allowing unit upgrades to be applied to all existing units as well as new ones, but overall I like it.

That said, I wanted to talk about the new Conscripts (ie: post 1.04). Personally, this is the only change I really dont like. I enjoyed the crappy spammy conscripts of 1.04. I just think they could be worked on to give them an actual role beyond simple walls of spam if returned to a place similar to 1.04.

Some thoughts:
*Have them cost about half of their current pop cost, due to the fact that only half of the men have guns to start with.
*remove the conscript upgrade from the armory and have them buy each upgrade at an ammo cost. Ie: extra guns, molotovs, commissar (execute).
*extra guns upgrade would add to the individual unit's pop cap (ie: going from 4 pop to 6).
*the idea here is that conscripts should be a cheap spammy unit early on (and should stay that way when you first buy new units), while having each individual unit upgradeable as the battle progresses. essentially what i'm going for is to have the conscripts be fairly expendable units, but if they survive long enough and the player chooses to upgrade them, they can become good units (as they do with the armory upgrade). the main difference here being that it is up to the player to equip them, or keep them as crap.

Yeah, patch 1.10 is definetely a big step forwards...i mean everything is better, except that lend-lease Sherman and these new conscripts as Flammenwerfer35 said. I agree with him that they should cost half pop cap, because only half of those men have rifles and after NKVD upgrade they should cost another +1 pop. Im very sad that they cost so much population...i mean those conscript spams was one of defining new features of this mod and id liked it. Now its practically gone, because you can build WSC without any cost of fuel. That means you can build Strelkys right away and those are much better than cons...

What i think is that the conscripts would be better if the unarmed ones actually pick up the fallen weapons the armed conscripts drop, and that they don't charge the enemy flailing if they have no weapon, because they die and don't do anything of use, or at least half the squad size but give them weapons, and that the NKVD upgrade makes the squad size larger, i also thing that they should be cheaper, and there effectiveness against infantry lowered to 1, because when you spam them, if you use them right they can destroy anthing like i had 2 squads of these meatbags and they ravaged a squads of knight cross holders and a squad of volks, and that guards should be raised from 2, to 3 so that there not just unserpressable, grenade equipped strelkzy...
