Please explain why it should do that.

Are you sure?? Its an identical US 76mm meaning it should take 3 shots if I remember

Well it brought it down from 100% to a scrap pile.

The Lend Lease Sherman can drive over footbrigdes, as it was a infantry unit. it did that on Scheldt + it did a submarine move throw a small river.

Personally i dont like the Range that the unit has, its like a mobile 88mm cannon doing chuck norris moves around the battlefield.

Im in love with the skin and the model ! but please this unit needs some tweaks, its not lie to say its kinda OP atm.

Never thought that, there will be lend lease sherman tanks cuz if i recall correctly, one of the dev hates the idea of lend lease in EF.

This tank should have the 75mm cannon, not the 76mm upgun.

I dont know the current stats other than it has no 50cal and lower armor/hp than an american sherman, but it is still pretty much too good for as early as it can come out. It should be exactly as it is now, but with the 75mm.

75mm cannon = scrap the new model and skin = American copy paste = fail.

Bwahaahaha. , I thought the old Shermans were a little OP since they have an excellent Price:Preformance ratio(They're cheap and good) and I have yet to test the Soviet one.

I think the Sherman as a unit is really unique and should stay, but it really needs a drastic stat tweak.  Again I stress that it needs to be roughly the equivalent to a Churchill, because that's the unit role it's supposed to take.  The current stats it has is not even close to a Churchill effectiveness by far.

Note: In regards to the Hetzer, it is only slightly stronger than the Churchill, but it also takes 1 more CP to unluck.

I stress once more, it is not supposed to be a mainline battle tank that is "desired"; rather as a tampon / stopgap tank that is supposed to be called in when there is no other alternative for AT in a sticky situation and loses effectiveness late game.

Contrary to the USA Sherman, people should not "want" to field this USSR Sherman late game if they can afford the other Soviet tanks instead.

i decided to take a look at its stats in corsix mod studio, and the number are a bit crazy for some of them

damage- 184 (damage for 76mm sherman for americans is about 78)
reload - 5-6 seconds
range- 60 (equivalent to the range of most AT guns) with a minimum range of 5 (which is odd for a tank)

also has a splash radius of 4.5, a 1.2 penetration bonus modifier at short range, and the target tables are similar to that of the regular 76mm sherman.

@Chancellor, I don't think it needs to be the Churchills equal they played the same role but the Churchill had a worse gun and better armor with a lower maximum speed.

Well obviously I'm not saying to give it the exact same stats as the Churchill.  A Sherman that moves like the Churchill would look stupid IMO.  It just needs to be equal to the Churchill performance-wise since it plays the same role.  Churchill stats or not that Sherman needs a huge nerf anyhow.

aha, heres da problem



it does twice the damage to all of panzer elites light vehicles (as well as pumas and Wehrmacht halftracks). so yeah it kills them in one hit.

it also has some other weird modifiers such as a 1.5 dmage modifier vs AT guns and multiple damage and accuracy bonuses against other tanks, and does double damage against soldier and elite armor type infantry
i think this requires a hotfix
