the max of 3 units is most harsh on airborne and if you think rangers are noobish lets not discus PE greniders and, the blitz krige storm troopes both are more powerful and do not have a cap. ;)

It looks very bad for a website not to update even at least once a month...and very dispiriting for passersby :)

You're overlooking something though. When blobbing PGs or Stormtroopers, one or two machineguns opening up on the blob and you've basically been checked. Break suppression is not an ability that the axis units have in their inventory. Thus americans and brits can EASILY counter mass PGs or stormtroopers, with MG bunkers, .30 cal teams, Maxon Mount M3 halftracks, Bren carriers with MG upgrade, etc.

Airborne and Rangers have no such vulnerability. They can easily break suppression. En masse they can be almost impossible to counter. While it is very expensive to get such a blob up, it's even more expensive to buy the units you need to counter such blobs.

Keep the damn cap. 3 airborne or ranger squads is enough for any battlefield situation.

Storm troops can cloke, PG have at and incenderary grenades panzersheikes and mp44s sprint and group zele; mg teams, nest, halftraks, and bren cariers are only a minor pest to these units used right ;D
volks grenaders with mp40s can kill airborne with ease and often rangers (VGs are much cheaper than rangers and airborne)
but i agree with one thing rangers and airborne can be anoying

And especially in groups, airbourne can lulz-i keel you a Puma or StuG.

Ostwind-Airborne
Volks=MP40 WITH Grenadier MG42-Rangers
(Volks take care of them when they are in Fireup, and then when cooling down, Grenadiers can LOLHEADSHOT.)

Ostwinds are Gods VS Airborne, especially because they can target them while landing. I've landed squads in enemy bases that have 1 man left because of Ostwinds, and when he finally gets his rifle out, ostwind goes ROFLCOPTER BOOM.

I suppose Ostwinds are a somewhat viable counter to Airborne. But I never seem to be able to get the damn things up in time, because in addition to having to tech all the way to tier 4, and spending the manpower and fuel for each ostwind, I don't like to start sending out tanks until I've got at least veterancy 2, preferrably veterancy 3. Tanks get torn to PIECES by the damn RRs and Bazookas until you get skirts. Building them before that just feels like I'm throwing fuel out the window with how quickly they die.

Ostwinds have 38mm of penetration, Now how many times have I seen an Ostwind shot bounce off a 16mm Greyhound?

If he AB spams why not piospam him back?  Or you could try mg with mines.  Ostwind is NOT a hard counter IMO.  Even if you kite, they can still get a few lucky shots in, and repairing is a pain.
