Female Sniper reward unit

Not sure if this is even possible but it would be cool to see a female sniper team, or perhaps only one sniper, which is more of a counter sniper unit. She targets enemy snipers while in a hold-fire mode. Also, she is a slower shooter but her first shot doesn't give her away. Just a thought.

Same idea as your Doctrinal unit for the Ostheer, just feminized lol.

My suggestion is (If it's possible) make it random with the dual sniper squad whether the sniper is male or female. If not, perhaps add your unit as a special counter-snipe unit. Perhaps it is able to shoot snipers only, but I don't know whether that could be implemented.

Well, I couldn't leave my beloved Ostheer to the mercy of thos vicious Russians gals.

I was at some point thinking random aswell, but I don't think random generation is possible.

it would be abused... it takes a shot the sniper moves then takes another, you would never find it unless by sheer luck

Thats what real snipers did. You could make an armoured recon team(armoured cars, bikes, schiwmmwagons, fast attack vehicles and do a sweep.

From my small amount of experience fighting 4 snipers at once, that's not so easy when they have support nearby. Only thing that might be useful is the fact that Russians cant retreat.

Beware of Hard AI lol. My poor volks squad got 1 shotted from a bunch of snipers.

I would go for that.

If random generation is not possible, I think it might be interesting to make a branching option for the Sniper Ace. Maybe you could choose between having the male Sniper Ace with the sticky bomb or having the female Sniper Ace with a different ability (grenades, flamenades or better yet, an activated ability that makes her detection radius larger for a limited time period to make her a better counter-sniper).




Mind that when I said "branching option", I meant just that. If you go for the Sniper Ace, you have to choose one or the other, you cannot be able to call both Sniper Aces in the same game.

At least that´s how I´d do it.

*Edit: Nevermind that, just remembered the reward unit system from ToV. I imagine that´s how this is supposed to work.

The model will be the only difficulty, unless you wrap her up in some baggy sniper parka and a Ushanka, covering her ears, then you just need the voice.
